There are good variety of runs and you can travel between quite a number of different valleys - including into France. Even with not much snow, the resort had a good variety of runs and which were managed well. The condition of the open runs were really good, with the use of snow cannons when needed. Also, there are some nice, fun runs through the trees with little jibs, without wondering too far away from the main piste. Lots of nice stop offs, whether its just for coffee or lunch. Highly reccomend to all levels

Very family friendly area but slopes at time of visiting were very icy so we spent a lot of time in siestere as it was a lot more powdery

Great little bustling town with friendly locals and fantastic food. We went in mid Jan which could have gone either way but it paid dividends. Not many powder hunters here either so was still finding untouched snow 2 days after a fall

Pros: large ski area, great lift connections, range of restaurants on piste and in resort, value for money food drinks and accommodationCons: not good for beginners as must take a red run to get back to resort, not very snow sure (but with global warmingis anywhere?!)

Not many runs open, there was snow so no reason why more cant be open, just feel like the ones running the slopes are lazy.

A great picturesque little Italian resort with some good bars and restaurants but the lift systems and piste management really let it down. The link to other resorts is an extremely slow 2 man chair lift which is really off putting. There is also not much effort to try and ensure all pistes are open within Sauze appear to rarely be in operation. If you are looking for a snow sure resort then I would look elsewhere but if you have a low budget, and dont mind skiing the same runs all week then it would be a great place for you!

Good resort but quite busy and not enough beginner trails Food was decent and nightlife was okay Make sure you know how to ride the buttonlift to reach other sides of the slopes

Some of the best off piste Ive done, plenty of runs through the trees and big powder. Also very easy to navigate around due to Sportina being very central and easy to get to
