What Skiers Say About Les 2 Alpes
Les 2 Alpes attracts a mixed crowd of beginners through to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with families and groups of friends in their twenties being common. The high altitude consistently delivers good snow conditions, and the lift system—particularly the new Jandri lift—receives widespread praise for minimal queuing. Reviewers frequently mention the lively après-ski scene at Pano Bar and Umbrella Bar, though opinions on the skiing area size vary, with some feeling the advertised piste kilometres overstate the actual terrain. The lower slopes, particularly the narrow runs back to the village at the end of the day, are repeatedly criticised for being icy, overcrowded, and challenging. Most visitors appreciate the range of restaurants and bars in the town, though some note limited and expensive on-mountain dining options.

The music festival by night and skiing by day.
The lifts were fast and efficient with very little queues.
The skiing higher up the mountain with blue runs was very fun and picturesque
The accommodation that we stayed at during rise, turned off the internet/wifi so this wasnt even a payable upgrade.
They supplied temporary linen, but if you wanted actual bedding and linen or towels you had to pay extra for this.
I took a friend who had never been skiing before so this review comes from both experienced and inexperienced eyes.
We loved it! So many nice restaurants and bars ranging from cheap to a bit more pricey but it was all so good!
Plenty of shops and supermarkets, multiple ski hire places. Its easy enough to walk around but there are shuttles every few minutes.
We visited early in the season but the runs were all very well kept despite the lack of snow, and when it did finally snow they were very well maintained.
Loves Les 2, we would definitely go back!
There was lots to do - paragliding, back country ski lessons, freestyle lessons.
Shops were average priced compared to other resorts Ive been to.
Apres couldve been better but there were a few nightclubs and bars nearby
The options for apres are great, lots of bars on the slopes as well as lots in the village! A great resort for groups, young couples and families! The only downside to this resort is the journey up to it which features a vast amount of hair pin corners, if you can deal with this then I would definitely recommend this resort!!
Very unique opportunity to ski the Glacier along the Signal 1 run.
If you are on the south end of the town, getting the Diable chairlift and then take the Super Diable, you can take a nice run along a blue to the Gondola stop to the top of Jandri. Acts as a nice warm up and helps to avoid the crowds at the bottom Gondola stop. Also means you dont have to trek as far to the lift.
No complaints with rental equipment in the resort, and the accommodation had great facilities, was modern and clean.
During Rise festival If you're going for the skiing the it's best to going somewhere else.
The overall slopes during normal season is one of the best casual ski resorts I've been to, it does lack much variety, but has very well maintained slopes for a great ride.
I have been skiing since I was 7 years old (now 31) learnt on a dry ski slope.
However I have been skiing in Bulgaria and Andorra before.
The resort itself outside of skiing is not great and not much to do in the evening, there are a few bars, but no nice restaurants and not much selection. Im not sure if that is due to the festival (in terms of food options on the menu)
The slopes where not ideal, as two of my friends who are beginners, the green and blue runs where icy and some of the blue runs were quite stoney also.
Overall I wouldnt recommend going to a ski resort and doing a festival where they are hosting also, it was an experience and a good one. But would rather just stick to doing just skiing holidays
Festival apres was unbelievable full sets until midnight with a lot of people out every night.
