Unfortunately the week I went to Les 2 Alpes it was very warm and hat no snow forecast, so conditions were very slushy and there was no off-pisting to be had . Having said that lots of lifts were open due to the resorts altitude although busy.
Aprés was very good indeed, more than made up for the poor snow this trip, plenty of options for eating out the spot was a particular stand out!
Would definitely go back!

Les Deux Alpes is a very friendly resort with lots of different accommodation to suit budget needs and group size. Pick your location within the resort carefully because it is essentially one long strip. So if you want to be near the Apres bars, find out where they are before booking your accommodation. However, you can always nip around the resort easily on the free bus service. Up on the mountain, there are excellent views and the glacier allows for Skiing much later than other resorts. There is a large pack community, making it very comfortable and accessible for modern British expectations, but it also retains its Frenchness. The resort is very popular in December with British universities, Which will tend to book out the less expensive accommodation blocks. The RISE music festival
has been hosted there since 2015, And largely takes over the resort in the weeks leading up to Christmas. There are lots of great bars, perfect for those who want to drink quietly, and those who want to stand on the tables. Overall Les Deux Alpes Is a lot of fun, and has relatively easy access to at least three airports.

Really good range of runs for all levels. Food on the mountain was expensive but not too bad in the town. Lots of shopping and things to do in the day if you dont ski. Apres was good and nice atmosphere. Some really nice off piste runs

We Arrived at Grenoble airport on 18/12/23 for a 5 day stay in Les Deux Alpes . We Used Bens Bus (highly recommendable) as transport up from the airport to the resort, the journey was roughly 2 hours. We stayed at Residence Nemea Le Hameau in a self-catered apartment which we found to be an excellent choice it had everything we needed for our short stay and was situated directly next to the Vallee Blanche ski lift. Throughout our stay we ate and drank at many bars and restaurant all highly recommendable notably Restaurant Le Sherpa and the Windsor pub all within walking distance of our accommodation and the ski lifts. In terms of ski equipment we hired our skies, boots and other gear from one of the many intersport shops located up and down the resort and our ski passes that we had purchased online were easily collectable from a ski pass vending machine at the information hut outside our accommodation. The slopes were fairly busy but nothing out of the ordinary, the conditions were perfect and the people were polite. We enjoyed lunch and drinks at the top of the glacier as well as the chance to take photos at the viewing point and explore the sculped ice caves at the highest point on the glacier with was roughly a 30-40 minute journey on the Jandri Express. Overall we had a wonderful experience and a very enjoyable stay. We would recommend this resort to all levels of skiers and to those who are beginners or accompanying children as we found the resort to be very beginner and family friendly.

was quite late in the season when i went (april) but snow was still holding on, nice resort but due to closed lifts at the end of the season it felt very small. lovely town though

The main resort slopes were quite tricky, even the greens, but if you go to Vallee Blanche on the other side of the resort the slopes are much more enjoyable and quieter too! Everything is easy to get to and lots of food and drink options. Not many alternative activities, which was a shame as the slopes were closed half the time we were there.
