I went over new years so it was busy, but that was expected.
The resort was easy to navigate and the runs were nice.
The queues for the main gondola were very long, but we found a route up using chairlifts and easy blues and greens to make the morning more enjoyable.

Really good if you are with a group of mixed abilities. They have a great Apres but I found some of the eating out options slightly lacking. I

Good snow quality for end of the year / start of Jan. Mostly green / blue and some red runs - very few black runs and conditions on most of them werent great

Few restaurants around the slopes and après was limited

Overall very cute town though with decent restaurants and bars

Great family holiday in Airbnb. Well set up for skiing and ski school. Easy hire of equipment.
Good variety of runs for all levels. Glacier makes for extra fun. Good après ski and restaurants. Equally good supermarkets for self catering.

A pretty resort but small and not a vast amount of runs. We went for New Years Eve and it was a great atmosphere for the new year.

I went to Les 2 Alps with a group of friends as part of a festival. This meant we were there earlier than the usual ski season would start.

Im a novice skier, and although they opened half the resort up, this only included one green run for me to try. It became icy super by day 3 and I was hoping theyd open up the other side of the resort which had tree runs and green runs - unfortunately apparently this event was too early in the season.

I really enjoyed trying to learn but I think I would have chosen a different resort as a beginner if Id known this would be the case.

L2A is a charming, medium-sized resort and ski area.

The recently replaced gondola system speeds you to the top of the glacier, with over 1500m of vertical climb. From there, there's a lot to explore, including some challenging near-piste descents.

For beginners, intermediates, families, and recreational skiers, there's more than enough to keep you busy all week.

In the resort and up the mountain, the quality and variety of dining available is fantastic, from the best pizza I've ever had, despite being served from a hole in the wall, to Michelin recognised restaurants.

Not too far from Lyon and Geneva, not too expensive, a glacier: all in all you'll probably have a lovely week.

Went for Christmas, surprisingly few queues for the lifts, many of the lifts are fast and fairly new, obviously there is the Brand new Jandri that takes you almost to the top of the resort. Easy to navigate way around, cant really get lost as everything ends up in the main town and everything is well connected. Not much in the way of tree lined runs, and a few of the greens and blues are quite narrow and get very busy towards the end of the day with beginners which make them difficult to ski properly. Runs generally well groomed. Would I go back? Not sure I would, if you want wide cruisey blues and reds this is not the place to go, better off in Les Arcs or La Plagne or even round the corner in Alpe dHuez.

Really fun resort, the snow wasnt great when I went but still had a lot of fun skiing up on the glacier. Really good apres ski bars and very good food

Good all round resort
Sunny slopes
Plenty of bars and restaurants
Good lift system

Downside is only a couple of runs right back down to resort is not much snow do they get very busy

Smithys Tavern is THE PLACE TO BE on nights out - constant events and right by The Avalanche club it truly is one of a kind, not to mention the food upstairs and incredible staff. Hit the umbrella bar for the vibe straight off the slopes - The Spot does the best burgers in France - The Polar Bear has the best atmosphere - The Red Frog always has the game on.

We had such a good time here, our accommodation was just outside the resort but the local bus was right outside our hotel and took us straight to the resort. We took sandwiches which we could make from the hotel out with us for a few snacks.
DJs in the bars at the top of the hills were amazing. Such good vibes.
Definitely worth a visit.

Came with a large group with varying skill levels and everyone was able to enjoy themselves. Lots of great runs and brilliant snow.

This is a great resort to visit if you're not too keen on long coach journeys up the side of mountains. It was a very quick transfer with a nice journey up. Nice relaxed snowboarding. I particularly liked the bowling alley in the evening.

It's honestly such an amazing resort.
Firstly the accomodation is great and food is amazing. There's a bakery near every hotel and the one I went to was open from six in the morning so easy before skiing.
Skiing is rlly good however there's minimal tree runs as it's a glacier resort.

Brilliant resort! There are slopes for all levels, and always good route options. I went in a group of mixed abilities and there were always options to take one route different ways to suit everyone. great ski park and slalom race course.
Apres was great fun, the town itself is lovely which nice bars and restaurants.
Lots to see and do.
