What Skiers Say About Les 2 Alpes
Les 2 Alpes attracts a mixed crowd of beginners through to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with families and groups of friends in their twenties being common. The high altitude consistently delivers good snow conditions, and the lift system—particularly the new Jandri lift—receives widespread praise for minimal queuing. Reviewers frequently mention the lively après-ski scene at Pano Bar and Umbrella Bar, though opinions on the skiing area size vary, with some feeling the advertised piste kilometres overstate the actual terrain. The lower slopes, particularly the narrow runs back to the village at the end of the day, are repeatedly criticised for being icy, overcrowded, and challenging. Most visitors appreciate the range of restaurants and bars in the town, though some note limited and expensive on-mountain dining options.

There is an abundance of blue runs which are reliably open with changing conditions. Allowing the opportunity to ski from 3600m to 1600m continuous. However, the offer of the few greens and reds are less reliable. The slopes are shaped around large off piste areas which open up the resort, especially connecting certain areas of the park together. The slopes also offer a snowpack for freestylers, several bars and food, plenty of lift access across the park and some viewing points to enjoy on bluebird days.
The resort is well connected to neighbouring villages but some lifts and also a bus shuttle service which drops off at lift access points. In the main resort you can find an abundance of ski shops for rentals or those last minute items. There are many places to eat with La Sherpa, Buzz and Pizza Chalet being hot spots to frequent. If a pub crawl is your thing, youre in for a treat with 31 options, all a variety of offerings.
Enjoy your stay at Les 2 Alpes with several loft options, ski from 3600m to 1600m continuously and enjoy the nightlife it has to offer.
Not a full ski in ski out resort but can ski to a couple of lifts.
Lots of options for speed up and down the mountain along with a lot of food options
However, I found this resort to be somewhat problematic. The whole town is on one long road and you have to walk really far to get from one location to the next unless you manage to get public transport.
There are lots of places to stay and the overall town is full of restaurants and bars and theres even a great restaurant/bar up on the mountain so you can enjoy a drink with the most breathtaking views!
If youre looking for a party in the nights or even days and skiing/snowboarding down some incredible terrain then Les 2 Alpes wont disappoint.
We will be returning to Les 2 Alpes.
Great for skiing for a much longer season as the mountain has a glacier under the snow to keep cool up until June. I visited in April last year and the snow was perfect so good that I am going again in April 2025. Less people on the slope but still great snow.
