What Skiers Say About Les 2 Alpes
Les 2 Alpes attracts a mixed crowd of beginners through to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with families and groups of friends in their twenties being common. The high altitude consistently delivers good snow conditions, and the lift system—particularly the new Jandri lift—receives widespread praise for minimal queuing. Reviewers frequently mention the lively après-ski scene at Pano Bar and Umbrella Bar, though opinions on the skiing area size vary, with some feeling the advertised piste kilometres overstate the actual terrain. The lower slopes, particularly the narrow runs back to the village at the end of the day, are repeatedly criticised for being icy, overcrowded, and challenging. Most visitors appreciate the range of restaurants and bars in the town, though some note limited and expensive on-mountain dining options.

Im a novice skier, and although they opened half the resort up, this only included one green run for me to try. It became icy super by day 3 and I was hoping theyd open up the other side of the resort which had tree runs and green runs - unfortunately apparently this event was too early in the season.
I really enjoyed trying to learn but I think I would have chosen a different resort as a beginner if Id known this would be the case.
The recently replaced gondola system speeds you to the top of the glacier, with over 1500m of vertical climb. From there, there's a lot to explore, including some challenging near-piste descents.
For beginners, intermediates, families, and recreational skiers, there's more than enough to keep you busy all week.
In the resort and up the mountain, the quality and variety of dining available is fantastic, from the best pizza I've ever had, despite being served from a hole in the wall, to Michelin recognised restaurants.
Not too far from Lyon and Geneva, not too expensive, a glacier: all in all you'll probably have a lovely week.
Sunny slopes
Plenty of bars and restaurants
Good lift system
Downside is only a couple of runs right back down to resort is not much snow do they get very busy
DJs in the bars at the top of the hills were amazing. Such good vibes.
Definitely worth a visit.
Food & drink options on the mountain are great.
Firstly the accomodation is great and food is amazing. There's a bakery near every hotel and the one I went to was open from six in the morning so easy before skiing.
Skiing is rlly good however there's minimal tree runs as it's a glacier resort.
Apres was great fun, the town itself is lovely which nice bars and restaurants.
Lots to see and do.
We had such nice dinners and found some lovely places for a drink after.
This place has definitely given me the ski fever and I would love to go skiing again here any day.
No, seriously. For me this is the king resort for tree runs. It will always hold a special place in my heart for that special feeling you get cruising through trees.
Load sob ugh speed ski lifts and a great selection of top quality ski schools.
2 hours from Grenoble makes it easily accessible.
Not a huge number of runs but a good difficulty range within the runs there, and an excellent glacier section.
Well equipped and large snow parks with enough space.
Great resort that would suit groups of friends or younger winter sports enthusiasts.
