What Skiers Say About Les 2 Alpes

Les 2 Alpes attracts a mixed crowd of beginners through to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with families and groups of friends in their twenties being common. The high altitude consistently delivers good snow conditions, and the lift system—particularly the new Jandri lift—receives widespread praise for minimal queuing. Reviewers frequently mention the lively après-ski scene at Pano Bar and Umbrella Bar, though opinions on the skiing area size vary, with some feeling the advertised piste kilometres overstate the actual terrain. The lower slopes, particularly the narrow runs back to the village at the end of the day, are repeatedly criticised for being icy, overcrowded, and challenging. Most visitors appreciate the range of restaurants and bars in the town, though some note limited and expensive on-mountain dining options.

Went with a group of mates and had the best first time ski experience! There was a 50:50 split of ski to snowboarders in our group. Great snow, well maintained, the lifts were excellent and quick. Apres was amazing, you have to try umbrella bar too! Would definitely go back!

Really enjoyed it. Great for begginers and intermediate. Lots of green blue and red slopes . Only downside is lifts can be a long walk, not many ski in type places unless you manage to get accomadation near a lift

We loved Les Deux Alpes! The town had a great atmosphere and plenty of nice restaurants and bars. The Jandri Express was a very efficient and comfortable lift which meant you could spend most of the day actually skiing rather than waiting for chair lifts.

Great resort for us, with a beginner and intermediate skiers in our group. Accommodation located for easy lift access and buses running regularly if you are a little further out. Enjoyed making it to the very top of the mountain (bit of a trek on the lifts but worth it) and then enjoying the long ski down!

Really good resort in terms of liveliness and nightlife, nice restaurants and lots of shops, drink and food prices vary. Good transport to all spots in the resort due to the buses. Ski area isnt that big or varied, not a lot of travelling you will find yourself repeating a lot of runs, but the quality of the slopes is very good due to there being lots of snow and slopes are usually very wide so lots space to ski. fabulous resort has been an amazing week both times Ive been.

I really enjoyed the pistes and found there was a good variation of red, blue and green slopes. I found the food options on the slopes very expensive and not great quality.

The resort was pretty good luck, with amazing views. A couple of the t lifts were broken at the very peak which sucked and we also had an incident where we was in a gondola when it broke down overhangs a very large drop, wasn't great but was fixed in a timely fashion. Some of the runs were very icy, and there was a green run my friends has to be rescued from, it eas there first day and it was so narrow with a drop on one side that they could barley get a turn in Over than that had an awesome time.

Les deux alpes is the best resort that I have been to in my first couple years of skiing, massive range and variety of slopes for people off all abilities, has undoubtedly one of the best apres ski in Europe and an amazing night life. Village/town is amazing and very scenic! Great place to visit.

Went to this resort for Rise festival and had a great time! Our accomodation was ski in ski out and we were close to three different mid sized supermarkets and a boulangerie! Had a blast, the après were lively and the food options plenty. Returning here in April!

I went late in the season and there was minimal snow, so often loathe parts of the mountain were not open. This was unfortunate, but the glacier and apres ski was great so me and friends had a great time!

A smaller resort that is great for beginners. But if youre looking for tree lined scenic runs, look elsewhere.

Really great resort not as expensive as other French resorts. Great vibe. Really nice restaurants and fairly large resort in general. Would recommend the hotels over the private accommodation.
