Great resort. Not masses of runs but they are long and wide and well
Kept. Lots of nice places to eat and good apres. Some good off piste under the Pierre Gross lift.

My boyfriend and I picked les deux Alpes to learn to ski and I can happily say that we have left the week desperately trying to book in again. Every aspect was incredible, our lessons and instructor were so thorough, the perfect combination of pushing us and supporting. The après ski was always booming with such lush vibes and upbeat music, not forgetting that les deux Alpes is also a hotspot for festivals and music events. Alongside this the village was perfect for all visitors, non-skiers/snowboarders as well as go getters, so many lovely pubs, restaurants, shops and just a gorgeous scenic area in general. Highly recommend!!!

Ive been to this resort a number of times with friends. I love the ski area, the ski park is great in particular - also lots of hugeee kickers if thats what youre into. Id recommend the ski schools too, though Ive had race training and freestyle ski training here as opposed to your usual day to day ski school lessons - but imagine these is also great! My friends and I love pano for apres and then umbrella bar after. The town is huge so lots of places to eat, drink and socialise - go to smithys!

Went to Les 2 alpes during rise festival, was my first time up any sort of mountain and I enjoyed every second of it from the friendly residents to navigating the greens and blues to the snow park days watching people do tricks

Nice open slopes, fair amount of runs. Good apres both on the mountain and down below. Snowpark is nice and fun but could do with a bit more variation. Lots of open places for off piste which are great on a powder day. Plenty of accommodation options and restaurants however some restaurants arent great so ensure to read reviews. Rise festival is a great time to come although can be very expensive as the area capitalise on this event.

I was lucky enough to spend 10 weeks out in Les 2 Alpes and loved my time. Unfortunately we werent as lucky with the snow that year and lower down near the village it started to lose snow fairly early in late February and march. However the town and the runs themselves along with the glacier skiing up high make it a great resort to visit with great aprés and nightlife. Good variety for any level skier and would high recommend.

One of the most famous ski resorts in France. Many kilometres of well-maintained pistes for all difficulties. Very fair prices. Well stocked snowpark. The slopes start at 3600 metres, where the snow is perfect and the views are breathtaking, especially the view of Mont Blanc.

Me and my family had the best holiday over new years in les deux apls, there was plenty for us to do in resort from family activities to apre and nightlife. The overall skiing was excellent and snow quality was brilliant up the mountain, we didnt have the best weather unfortunately so lower towards the bottom was icy however this didnt stop us lol. A very enjoyable ski holiday overall and would definitely come back !

Huge ski area covered comprehensively by fast high capacity lifts, lots of on mountain eating and apres! There are loads of off piste options that take days to get tracked out and the snow quality on the higher slopes is normally amazing. The grooming is superb and the glaciers, fee and belecombes areas are a paradise for intermediates looking to ski groomers. There are several beginner areas by the village as well as one at 2100m. With a vertical drop of over 2000m between the top slopes and bottom slopes this resort has something for everyone.

I've been to this resort twice now, once in March and once in April. Overall, it's a great place for a family with mixed ability. The array of green runs and beginner friendly slopes is great. The main ski schools are both fantastic too, and there's even a nervous skier school. The snow is well tended and there are several long green runs as well as lots of blues of various difficulties, but plenty of tougher routes for more experienced skiers too. The glacier means you can ski here all year round, and it's just as well because Easter time had low levels of snow lower down.

The apres is perhaps tamer than elsewhere, except at Pano Bar, although there's not enough seating there and it closes quite early. Town itself has a family friendly feel with pleasant night life. It's not too rowdy but not quiet either. People here are friendly and welcoming and it felt safe in all parts of town. Town itself has plenty of shops including a great bottle shop which I'd highly recommend.

Definitely take the cable car down to the next valley over to visit the medieval town. It's so quaint and has lovely walks and cute bars.

Overall, if you're a young group of friends, you might prefer neighbouring resorts work more going on, but for adult groups or families of varying ability, this is a great resort.

Dont go at Christmas time as its alot busier this is due to the long christmas school break so lots of families come and bring their kids this can make it harder to put your kids into ski school as they get booked quickly this can lead to there being tones of ski lessons on silgle slopes at a time making it harder to navigate round them

Great place to go! Large resort! Clean, friendly, lots of options for all levels, I managed to up my level of skiing here, and was great to meet so many like minded people, the umbrella bar is fantastic and gives you something to look forward to after skiing

I've been to Les 2 Alpes once and it was in the spring so please when reading this review bear in mind it's from a warmer period of the year point of view.

This resort is fantastic for having runs for everyone, arguably a more beginner designed resort but there are definitely loads of advanced level runs for the pros! When I was there a lot of the lower runs were closed due to lack of snow but the benefit in Les 2 is that you have the glacier. You will never run out of snow up there and it's so massive there is always something new to check out. Snowboarders will have no trouble here from my experience it's friendly to all plank sliders. It's a cheaper resort in my eyes where food and drink is actually quite affordable for all. The eating out options are amazing also, from cheese fondue to amazing pizzas there is always something around the corner. Loads of burger places as well which surprised me and all are fantastic! Apres was brilliant because it was so warm so everyone is acting like we are in summer, umbrella bar was a favourite for me it's located at the bottom in main Les 2 and it's always booming with great music, drinks and people. That place could use some security though as we had a few people lose kit or have there own things stolen which was very unfortunate. Accommodation was actually really good and pretty affordable, it's the usual 4 person to a studio type but was very clean and had no issues at all. Security on call for our accommodation and they were always lovely.

My one and quite big negative about the resort is (with all respect) the locals. We were not treated very nicely by the local bunch when we were there, now I know these guys have to put up with hundreds of thousands of tourists each year coming and invading the resort but I feel that comes with living in a ski resort. It was also end of season so I imagine they are just a little fed up but doesn't provide an excuse to 1. Over charge when they realised we were tourists 2. Use slang and offensive comments to describe us 3. Be completely reckless on the slopes thinking that they own the place.

There are a lot of factors that make Les 2 Alpes a fantastic resort and I strongly believe we just got unlucky with the downside, the highs absolutely outweighed the lows and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a cheaper ski holiday with all the same facilities to use as others.

Really enjoyed my time here and would happily go back, its always good fun and cant knock it. Good apres with good vibes and not silly prices. Lovely views from the top and never felt overcrowded

We went for rise festival this year, great way to get a cheap lift pass!

Got our own accom some lovely airbnbs, that are pretty cheap or if you want to pay a bit more some great hotels with spas and breakfast included.

Nice big ski area so even when the festival was on the slopes didnt seem overly crowded.. except form the ski down from pano after apres!

Gondola takes a while and can be busy in a morning but they are currently building a new one so should improve in the next year, never had any big ques for any of the chair lifts.

Best resort I've ever been to! I spent the first 5 weeks of my race season at L2A and it's probably the best ski resort I've visited since I started skiing. Its not too big, you can easily walk everywhere with ease, but there is also a free bus option available too. There are plenty of ski lifts and all signposting where they take you to clearly. The snow park is great and there's also board cross runs too which are fun! There's a good variety of slope difficulties with most the beginner/green slopes being at the base of the resort and the remainder being scattered everywhere else.

There's no trees on the main ski side of the resort, but I liked this as It made it easier to navigate about the pieste.

Nightlife at this resort I'd great, there's several great bars and 2 clubs, and also several amazing restaurants too! Shopping is great with plenty of good shops from the typical ski shops like Decathalon amd Intersport all the way to Billabong and DC.

If you go at the right time of year you can also experience the Rise Festival, which makes the resort very busy and has the slopes packed, but the atmosphere is great!

The ESF ski school were amazing, but there was several other options of ski/snowboard schools available should you want them.

On the whole, a great place to visit, I'll definitely be coming back!

Really nice atmosphere. Great skiing for beginner's and advanced skiiers. Plenty of resurants, apres ski, bars etc to choose from.

Some of the nicest views of the alps I've ever seen.

Family friendly.

The town has only 1 late night bar if I recall and it gets very busy very quickly.

Okay resort, been 3 times to rise festival which is great fun but the resort is quite small and theres a lot of flats, not great for snowboarders
