What Skiers Say About Les 2 Alpes

Les 2 Alpes attracts a mixed crowd of beginners through to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with families and groups of friends in their twenties being common. The high altitude consistently delivers good snow conditions, and the lift system—particularly the new Jandri lift—receives widespread praise for minimal queuing. Reviewers frequently mention the lively après-ski scene at Pano Bar and Umbrella Bar, though opinions on the skiing area size vary, with some feeling the advertised piste kilometres overstate the actual terrain. The lower slopes, particularly the narrow runs back to the village at the end of the day, are repeatedly criticised for being icy, overcrowded, and challenging. Most visitors appreciate the range of restaurants and bars in the town, though some note limited and expensive on-mountain dining options.

So much to do there in terms of parties, restaurants and bars. The resort is all in one place, making getting around so much easier than most places.

Les Deux (2) Alpes, what can I say.

I have been there 4 times, at 4 different abilities. Everytime, I have enjoyed very much.

Les 2 Alpes offers everything you want from a french resort.
- Lovely, Cosy town
- wide variety of apres ski (Pano bar is great !)
-Very affordable accommodation
-affordable lift pass
-up to 3600Metre Glacier skiing (garunteed snow)
- 1hr 30 mins from Grenoble airport

It is a great resort !

Any expert skiers looking for challenges, dont fear. Les deux alpes has your covered. Access to La Grave resort is available, La Grave is a purely off piste resort with some of the most challenging skiing around.

I cannot recommend it enough ! Fantastic

Great resort with lots of places to eat and drink. Also spoilt for choice with activities. But overall found the lifts to be quite slow and dated. And for an advanced skier going for a full week I was pretty bored after 2 days. There is no big zone exploration and the resort is basically 2 main gondolas, 1 to the middle station and the second to the top station. It is very much an up and down resort, great if youre a beginner or not great with piste maps. But will get boring if you like to explore.
