On mountain facilities and infrastructure are not up to standard for a resort of that size. Grooming of pistes occurs too early in the evening to be effective, particularly when overnight snow is forecast. Village has a nice feel to it with a good range of shops and restaurants. Resort would not be suitable for beginners.

I went during April not expecting great conditions however was pleasantly surprised at the great conditions. Many powdered days. I suggest going all the way to the top to experience an incredible run to the bottom. There are many apres options including on the mountain the new pano bar and at the bottom called umbrella. The resort offer lots of shops, restaurants and bar. The polar bear bar is a favourite of mine. Good night life including Smithys, Avalanche and Grotto de yeti. The resort is ideal for not only families but uni groups and friends.

I went here with work, been skiing most of my life and found this is best resort. Not particularly diverse types of slopes but good wide open slopes all the way from the top. Best ski resort I have been to, has relatively food night life

I went to les 2 alpes as a beginner skier, which I found there are greens and nursery slope perfect for a beginner. Then also the apres, resturants and in the town are all really fun.

Ive been going to Les 2 Alpes for over ten years as the quality of snow at Easter is always fantastic. Without fail, the vast majority of the ski area has great coverage and is maintained extremely well. The Vénosc end of town, close to the Diable lift, has great restaurants, excellent bars and plenty of equipment hire and ski shops. Next season the new Jandri gondola is set to open in December, cutting the time from the bottom to the top (3200m) down to 17 minutes. It will have the capacity to transport 3000 people every hour, cutting queue times massively. Prices in town at restaurants such as The Grain of Salt and Le Cellier are very reasonable and offers such as happy hour in the Ice Bar mean that chilled apres ski is not going to be prohibitively expensive. As a good intermediate skier, theres plenty of variety on the slopes, as well as the opportunity to get off piste and hit the powder. Since I first visited Les 2Alpes, Ive tried other places, but keep coming back here for a value, snow-sure, convenient trip.

Les deux alpes is a lovely resort to visit. It has a beautiful range of green, blue red and black runs! The main focus on the resort is around the blues, you can ski the top of the glacier to the resort all on long windy blue runs. Perfect for those looking to learn to ski and progress as an intermediate.
It has a high chance of good snow level throughout the season due to how high it is!
The esf ski school is great with brilliant teachers who have been there for years and are super experienced.

It is less good for advanced skiers and those looking for tree landscapes. There are some good off piste areas and good black? But overall there are not many very difficult runs.

The resort itself is pretty standard with a good range of ski in ski out accommodation and a range of restaurants.

Will definitely return!

Really poor resort for anyone other than a beginner. 90% blue runs as it is just one big bowl. Can ski the whole resort in one day.

Apres is alright, pano used to be good but has changed location up the mountain. Umbrella is good down the mountain and then avalanche and smithys for later evening entertainment. Penguin is good for the football. But other than that it lacks a lively apres and bar scene. Luckily there are a couple festivals so make sure you go during that time.

The amenities round the town are poor not many pools or spas which youd expect nowadays. A couple of super markets that will keep you going.

There are a few French mountain restaurants but sadly theres a lot of kebabs and fast food. In my opinion There are better resorts and ski areas for the money you will spend going to Les 2 alps.

L2A is the best all round resort!
It really has something for everyone.
Ive visited many times, and the next trip always tops the previous.
The locals are so friendly and always happy to help, the transportation links and ease of access makes it super simple to arrive stress free.
The new lift infrastructure is absolutely amazing, having witnessed it before I truly was lost for words when I saw the brand new lifts!
The resort flows from family oriented zones, to sophisticated spa hotels and restaurants to the best bars with great music all somehow in harmony of eachother!
The mountains are perfect for all abilities, the maps are so easy to follow, and once on the hills the clear signs make for a perfect day exploring.

Great resort. Wide choice of runs which are long and for all levels of skiing ability.

The resort is suitable for all ages, families, groups, Uni trips and just ski holidays.

A good resort, lifts to the glacier and the higher slopes are often congested. The resort is difficult to get around, lifts become bottle necked. There are only 2-3 runs back into the resort - they get very congested from 1500.

Great resort for all round stuff, especially for learning new skills, for example park and powder skiing, everything is super accessible. As well as this being able to ski to the town was a massive plus for me as it was still ski down in mid April which is rare in most resorts. The overall skiing was great and there was some good runs, however Im not a fan of landscape without trees which l2a is very bad with as its pretty much a snow desert but thats a minor grievance. Loved the apres however, on mountain but accessible and there was a big run all the way to the bottom was super nice after an apres.

Good resort with plenty of skiing high up and a great town with plenty of entertainment. Unfortunately snow conditions meant the lower runs were not really skiable but plenty of variation further up the mountain.
Excellent place to learn, with lots of gentle, wide blues (right to the top of the glacier) but if you're looking for more of a challenge, you'll likely exhaust the blacks pretty quickly.
Off-piste options looked vast but conditions weren't suitable for much when we went.

Les 2 Alpes is the perfect resort if you love to shred groomers, with bombing blues up top on the glacier with consistently good snow thanks to the elevation. There is also some steeper, more challenging terrain to improve your skills on good quality black runs, such as Bellecombes 5.

The snow is very quality all season round, and early in the season its quieter. It can get quite busy with race schools, because of the snow and close proximity to nearby airports, it is a top spot for racers.

If the backcountry is what youre looking for, over the back of the resort is the most direct access to La Grave by ski tour.

The village is lovely, with nice stores, good ski rental stores, and some nice restaurants. Unfortunately, restaurants on the mountain tend to be quite expensive for what you get. It might be worth making a packed lunch for your day out and trying the restaurants in the village in the evenings.

Another slight draw back is the T-bar lift on the glacier, the queue can get quite long, but its definitely worth the wait.

Overall, Les 2 Alpes is a great resort, whether youre going with family, with friends, or on a backcountry trip to find some of the best terrain in Europe in the La Grace Couloirs.

Long queues and can take significant time to reach top of mountain if busy. Several choices of mountain restaurants, some with loud music.

Overall quite busy resort, recommended to download lift at the end of the day if conditions are poor for snow cover. Enjoyed the apres options, but be sure to book your restaurant in the evening!

Good resort for a more relaxed group holiday.

The area itself is not too large, but enough to do in a week and well connected so you never get too far away and can get back to town easily.

A mixture of wide long runs, mainly blue but actually a large variety within. Good mogul runs as well as flatter terrain.

The village is personally a favourite. All on one road so very easy, surprisingly affordable for a ski resort also, and much less pretentious than other resorts.

The lifts - especially most of the chairlifts need replacing, just one or two are quick and efficient, the rest are old, slow ankle choppers. Also needs to vastly improve on the use of snow cannon down into the valley, there just aren't enough to manage the runs down from cretes, and so the vast majority wear out badly or are abandoned quickly when the snows are thin or weather warm. Far too few mountain restaurants and so they are absolutely rimmed, and the toilets overwhelmed. Funicular is over filled every time, they need to stop about 20 or 30 less each time. Jandri express system is outdated, but still the best way up to the glacier. Some great runs and a great snowpark area. Lift operators need to be less lazy and sweep the seats clear of snow and help people on and off a bit better. Village great, ski hire great, hotel range great.....but its getting too busy for the lift system. Needs to modernise badly.

Apres-ski here was incredible, and there is an awesome jump park with a Halfpipe, which is pretty rare, and super fun. The chair lifts were very efficient and some even took a picture of you as a souvenir really cool! I had an incredible time I think its best to go with friends, but it was quite family friendly to. I didnt do much of piste of this resort. But all in all I had an incredible time, I would definitely recommend again as I will be returning myself

Just had a week in Les 2 Alpes with my buddy. We had a dump of fresh snow overnight on the Saturday giving us a great Sunday of powder skiing on the pistes which was lovely. Great weather for the rest of the week meant lots of great skiing. Plenty of variety of slopes - could maybe do with some more harder level pistes.
We stayed half board at Jam Session hotel. Staff were great and friendly and attentive. Its right by the slopes for a quick start in the mornings. Were not really ones for the sore ski so cant really comment on that but we had a great time.

Although good skiing both groomed and powder, the resort is small in comparison to others. The off piste skiing wasnt great but the ungroomed pistes did make up for this.
Each lift ended in an uphill climb which was my biggest bug bare.
The resorts apres ski was good with good accessibility to both clubs and bars and food was good n
