Very nice area many tree lined runs extensive area to explore. Lively apres was great fun. Found the sellaronda circuit more busy than the other areas but still worth doing the green route is the easiest of the two.

Perfect weather. Great lift complex. Plenty of runs including the renowned Sellaronda. Lift queues negligible. Snow record is excellent. Some great ski hire options. Personally recommend the ski hire at Dantercëpies lift where you can also store skis at the end of the day. All round excellent resort.

Val Gardena is an excellent resort. It was recommended to us by a friend and has fully exceeded our expectations. I had not perviously skied in Italy before, or the Dolomites specifically. We were completely blown away by how beautiful the area is; the slopes, mountains, villages are all lovely. Food is very reasonable and very good quality, as are drinks. The full ski area is huge, and well serviced by an excellent system. But the area is massive, and its not all interlinked, so worth considering a car to maximise the use of the life pass. My only minor criticism is that the piste map and the the general sign posting of runs/lifts is not always clear - but certainly makes for an adventure!

It is a lovely town with many hotels/accommodation options, plenty of restaurants but reservation in advance is recommended as we spent an hour trying to find a restaurant for walk-in on a Thursday night. Ski wise I absolutely enjoyed sella Ronda with a lively apres ski right at the end of the journey. Sundays can get extremely busy on the slopes.Overall its great!

Quiet lifts, slopes reasonably busy, Sellaronda is great. Amazing food options. Chalet Soldanella looking after us well. Quite a lot of skis on and off for lifts!!

The slopes in the Dolomites are beautiful! The resort is so big that you could be there for a week and only do each slope once or twice (if you want to explore as much as possible). There is a huge range of different slope levels available. However, many blue runs around the Sellaronda are only accessible after doing a couple of small red slopes to reach them. There are plenty of places to eat and apres around the resort with frequent buses to transport you.

The runs are the widest I have been too and long with the one going down from Seceda being 12 km. The views are incredible but getting to the top can be a bit of a pain with 2 cabins to take and quite long queues. However overall its worth it for me.

The resort was nice, slopes are pretty short but there are lots of them.It was very busy in over the holiday season.Restaurants are expensive and eating vegan on the slopes is quite difficult. It didnt snow all week I was there and they did not make much new snow either despite the cold so it got icy by day 4 of my trip.Service is nice but its very crowded and slow.

We stayed in the Monte Pana area above St. Christina in Val Gardena in early January 2025. Slopes were very quiet, the longest queue we had in 4 days of skiing was ten minutes for the underground funicular lift. The Monte Pana Sports Hotel was a real find, friendly staff, great food, comfy rooms and a huge heated boot room. Pistes were beautifully groomed, we were fortunate to get snowfall whilst we were there so managed to find fabulous linked blue and red runs throughout the resort, as well as testing but not too difficult blacks. the 8 'Legend' runs were well named, try to do as many as you can! Top mountain restaurant tip - Jimmi's Hut above Selva, superb lunch with great service.
