What Skiers Say About La Tania
La Tania is a small, purpose-built resort located between Courchevel and Meribel in the Three Valleys, attracting primarily families and mixed-ability groups. Reviewers consistently mention easy access to the wider Three Valleys ski area via a single gondola, ski-in/ski-out accommodation options, and significantly lower prices compared to neighbouring Courchevel. The tree-lined Folyères blue run back to the village is frequently praised, though several users note it can become icy or challenging for beginners later in the season. The Ski Lodge pub is repeatedly cited as the main après-ski venue with live music, while eating and nightlife options are limited to a handful of establishments. Most reviewers describe the atmosphere as relaxed and family-friendly rather than lively.

Limited places to eat but all family friendly and great value. Lower slopes do suffer late in the season.
There are a few places to eat and drink and a range of accommodation types from apartments to chalets and a hotel. Many of the places are ski in, ski out.
A great little place with access to a huge ski area. A largely undiscovered gem!
Plenty of reasonable accomodation.
Good family resort
Blue run back to the village is more of a red, great end of day, zero turns leg burner.
Good off-piste available under the Dou des Lanches chair. Pop the small cliffs back towards the groomers or go through the Gassex machines. More advanced routes off the back of Col Loze towards Meribel. Hike up plumbers crack to Rocher Loze for more adventure.
Ski Lodge is the apres favourite and full of grimy chalet staff, if thats your thing. Well stocked Sherpa in the town.
All the locals were friendly and welcoming. La tania itself has a fairly mild nightlife with a small selection of places to eat and drink. However there are buses running every 15 minutes to transport you around Courchevel.
The best bit of our stay was of course the boarding. With a huge selection of routes to take and plenty of lifts to get you there we were never stood still. There was plenty of variety throughout the piste with some routes being almost 3 miles long. And one route from top to bottom that was just shy of 5 miles long!
The facilities across the slopes are all very well maintained. And there are plenty of picturesque cafés and restaurants to stop and have a drink and some food.
Overall the experience was 10/10! And we'll definitely be back again!
