La Tania Review Summary

La Tania is a small, purpose-built resort located between Courchevel and Meribel in the Three Valleys, attracting primarily families and mixed-ability groups. Reviewers consistently mention easy access to the wider Three Valleys ski area via a single gondola, ski-in/ski-out accommodation options, and significantly lower prices compared to neighbouring Courchevel. The tree-lined Folyères blue run back to the village is frequently praised, though several users note it can become icy or challenging for beginners later in the season. The Ski Lodge pub is repeatedly cited as the main après-ski venue with live music, while eating and nightlife options are limited to a handful of establishments. Most reviewers describe the atmosphere as relaxed and family-friendly rather than lively.

We've stayed in La Tania for years and it's where I learnt to ski. It's a lovely quiet area so ideal for families. Always people sledging after pistes close under the bridge. Lots on during the school holidays. Pub le ski lodge is the place for apres ski and La Taiga for evening meals.is just perfect. Accommodation options are great too, lots of self catered apartments alongside a hotel and a various amount of chalets too. Ski lifts run well but first lift there can be a queue. It's currently having a new hotel and more apartments and another hotel built too. Worth a visit if you want somewhere quiet that's connected to the 3 valleys ski area.

Good small place to access the 3 valleys area without paying the prices of Courchevel or Meribel. Quite low down though so if late in the season skiing all the way down can be a bit hit and miss.
