What Skiers Say About La Tania

La Tania is a small, purpose-built resort located between Courchevel and Meribel in the Three Valleys, attracting primarily families and mixed-ability groups. Reviewers consistently mention easy access to the wider Three Valleys ski area via a single gondola, ski-in/ski-out accommodation options, and significantly lower prices compared to neighbouring Courchevel. The tree-lined Folyères blue run back to the village is frequently praised, though several users note it can become icy or challenging for beginners later in the season. The Ski Lodge pub is repeatedly cited as the main après-ski venue with live music, while eating and nightlife options are limited to a handful of establishments. Most reviewers describe the atmosphere as relaxed and family-friendly rather than lively.

Easy to get into other bigger areas using the gondola and lifts. Gondola always quiet on a morning. Good pub and a couple food options.

A great resort for any beginner to intermediate skiers or boarders set in the beautiful wooded mountain side in between courchevel and meribel. La tania’s local slopes are great for beginners and intermediates with a chilled tree run to take you back down to the village (which does get a little icy after lots of traffic sometimes), or for seemingly infinite choice and an incredible range of views and terrain, you of course have access to the whole of the massive three valleys ski area within easy reach. It’s also totally doable to ski over past VT and to les menuires so long as you time your return route for the last lifts up from VT / meribel. Charming Small village with a few great amentities overall and with amazing access to the rest of the valleys.

Great resort! With access to the amazing amount of skiing in the three valleys. Great apres bar right at the bottom of the slopes with a nice chill vibe earlier on but very busy and viney later. Great range of restaurants around for all price ranges. Great resort, would highly recommend

The place to ski if you want to get away from the crowds in the Three Valleys. The tree lined runs down to La Tania are superb and if you start at the top of Bou Blanc you get to take an lovely black followed by a carving blue all the way to the bottom. The Ski Lodge has excellent apres ski, live bands and good beer. I've skied all over the Three Valleys but La Tania is always my favourite.

Great little resort with 3V access, the (in)famous Slodge for debauched apres and some good backcountry if you know where to look. Recently had a world cup run added that is challenging fun. Lifts are a bit creaky but do the job. Probably more English than even Meribel.

A quiet resort but excellent for getting into the 3 valleys. La Montana Hotel 3 stars is excellent. Great food and service. Good blue and green runs to resort. Busy in the morning which then gets very quiet the rest of the day.

La Tania has always been great value for money given the location right in the middle of Meribel and Courchevel without the pretentious loaded life up in Courchevel, La Tania is always very down to earth and has great Apres, especially in the Ski Lodge!

Excellent little town to stay in for three valleys access - cheaper than the better known ones and very quickly able to access both Courchevel and Meribel. Easy to get across to Val Thorens for the day too. Great final run down into La Tania and the town itself is fab with very lively apres.

Brilliant resort, Id recommend getting the 3 valleys pass. La Tania slopes dont get much sun so can become icy quickly when it gets compacted, but further up the mountain is perfect

La Tania is a small ski resort with great links to the wider 3 Valleys area. It's easy to get over to Courchevel and Meribel. The runs back down into resort suit all abilities. There are plenty of accommodation options, ranging from catered chalets to hotels. There is a great bar at the bottom of the main ski run down into resort. There are a few different restaurants to choose from.

A great place to stay if you want access to the brilliant three valleys skiing area but with a much more relaxed and peaceful vibe. Very family friendly, good blue run back into the village (which can be very icy in bad conditions) and charming apres ski in the local bars / pubs without the crazy nightlife.

Visited this resort with family several times and it has always worked well as a gateway and access point into the 3 valleys. This area works super well as a base point to give you quick and effectively access to the rest of the 3 valleys.

The accommodation we have stayed in within La Tania was always felt warm and inviting, which is also one of the reasons we return, as well as the ski in ski out aspect.

The area is fairly quiet, not a huge apres scene that I've discovered but a great family getaway location.
