What Skiers Say About Whistler Blackcomb
Whistler Blackcomb attracts skiers and snowboarders across all ability levels, from beginners to experts. Reviewers consistently praise the massive skiable terrain across two mountains, the variety of runs including off-piste and tree skiing, and the efficient lift system connecting Whistler and Blackcomb via the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. Snow conditions are frequently mentioned as variable, with several users noting rain at lower elevations, icy patches, and inconsistent coverage depending on the season. The resort is repeatedly described as expensive, with high costs for lift tickets, accommodation, food, and dining both on and off the mountain. Lift queues, particularly on weekends and peak times, are a common complaint, with waits of 20-40 minutes reported at busy periods.

Full of Australian working and party there, runs so long u prob won't do full thing without break
Great hotels all close to mountain,
Everything u need in one place
if youre not finding what you want you can always take the peak to peak to switch between mountains.
The biggest problem with whistler blackcomb is the traffic and the road. Theres one road into town and it backs up frequently. Lodging in town is quite expensive but you can occasionally get a deal. Apres and restaurants seemed expensive last time I looked so finding a place with a kitchen if you are staying over is a must.
The best mints to visit are late January through march. But theres usually one of the mountains open till may
Top tip: get to the slope early and have the fullest day skiing and at least once go from top to bottom in one run <3
Never too busy, can always find an empty, gorgeously quiet and wide run to destress x
The mountains offer so many different ski lifts that you probably wont cover them all in a weekend, but youll most definitely find some quieter spots, and powder when you least expect it.
The resort is fairly busy always, so be prepared for some crowds, but Ive never had to wait too long to get on a lift despite the insane amount of people also at the resort.
Tons of places for accomodation, whether its in the Village, or through AirBnB on the outskirts of the village, while a bit pricey, its definitely a place youll want to experience a weekend at at least once!
Every part of Whistler and Blackcomb has something to offer for every rider whether your looking for easy blues and greens which can get pretty busy sometimes, nice and easy off piste action, daring black runs and some knarly double blacks. My favourite run has to be bagel bowl which is a diamond black, but even in my first year of snowboarding i was able to make it there with a friend who knows the terrain. Even though theres not much snow at the moment, good early conditions have allowed me to ride my favourite run already.
