Lots of slopes, big terrain park and big jumps. Lots of lifts and less queues than in other Canadian ski resorts. Lift tickets are expensive 250$ a day. I can recommend to buy it in the pre season sale, it's 40% off the regular price. From all the Canadian resorts I've been on the west coast whistler is the closest to European standards. Food and Beer in the mountain are expensive. 1 hot wine 12$ and a beer 13$. Overall still a good resort. Lots of terrain on a powder day

Skied Whistler Blackcomb since the 89s, had my 30 birthday there. There are great runs for all levels and the great Franzis run top to bottom, tried but haven't managed to do this on one run without stopping, love Hofs but, great place to grab a beer. Nightlife and dining options are excellent including the international dining area halfway up.
I usually rent a ski in/out condo on Blackcomb side. Best lift system including the gondolas, great addition years ago to have lift going to whistler and blackcomb. Highly recommended. One of the first resorts to valet parking your skis at Fairmont.

Loved the amount of skiable terrain and the vertical drop.
Hated the fog/clouds impairing the viewing and the wet, heavy snow.

Went there last year for the first time. Absolutely loved the town there. It was so cute and tons of fun apres ski, shopping, great food from low to high end. The skiing in general has gorgeous views and was pretty powdery. Overall, would definitely come back to Whistler!

Such an amazing resort, with so much choice of terrain, something for everyone at all levels, and even the non-skiers. The ski school is pricey but excellent. Good choice of restaurants and apres ski. Great choice of accommodation with three separate locations to choose from, all with good lifts. What's not to like?!

Whistler is great! A bit expensive but overall a great ski resort! The town of whistler is amazing, full of character and has a good variety of ski shops and restaurants. Go early to avoid lines! Christmas time can be very busy as well, so best to not go during that time of the year.

This trip was 5 years in the making. CoVid prolonged our chance to finally get to Whistler. The dual mountain setup is unique ... like 2 volcano's side by side. Getting from one "set" of runs to the next was pretty easy. As a boarder, that's important. Snow conditions were, acceptable, as we learned of the moisture that Vancouver snow picks up from the coast line. Most of the upper surfaces of the mountains were "crusted over" ( read: ice) ... not the best fun for a boarder, but we did check them out. We had powder on day 4 and 5 ... accompanied by some fog (which was no fun). All and all, our trip was pretty good and will definitely go into our roatation of resorts we visit.

Whistler blackcomb offers a whole ton to explore. The daily rates have really become steep. I wouldn't say it's worth it unless you invest in an edge card or pass.
The experience is really multiplied if you are with someone who knows the best spots.

Just spent a week at Whistler/Blackcomb. The skiing was great, lots of fresh snow, but it was cold (-16°C).
The two hills have a huge variety of slopes and challenges - something for everyone.
The lodges on the hill were crowded (maybe because it was cold) and the food mediocre.
But I keep going back because - the skiing!

Have been traveling to whistler for years from the UK. Been to other numerous resorts in Europe but Whistler comes out every time. The village and terrain. With back country options are second to none. Both my children have learnt to ski through the ski school and have developed a love and passion for the sport due to excellent ski camps everyday finishing with a big grin and chocolate chip cookie. They started on skis at 3 and havent looked back. I would recommend whistler to anyone no matter what you want from a ski holiday

Let me just start off by saying that I've been to quite a few ski resorts in British Columbia and Whistler, hands down is my go to. It never disappoints. The options for accommodations is fairly extensive. If you can find a 2 bedroom condo with full kitchen amenities and gas barbecue, it tends to be a great value proposition. The number of pubs, bars, restaurants and nightlife spots is pretty extensive as well. No lack of choice. The available terrain to ski on both mountains is pretty incredible. It's almost impossible to ski everything in one trip. Everyone has their favorite mountain and areas to ski, mine just happens to be Blackcomb over in the Crystal Ridge area. I do have to say though, once upon a time, the cost to stay and ski was fairly reasonable. Ever since the takeover by Vail resorts and of course, post-COVID price hikes, the cost has increased substantially over the last 5 years. The only piece of advice I would offer is to make sure you price out the cost of everything, including your lift passes.... they are expensive.

Whistler Blackcomb is a beast. It's the biggest resort I've ever skied. I've been skiing this resort for most of my life. The terrain is very diverse and you can find a bit of everything. It's a very busy mountain so be ready for some long lift lines. IT's also on the more expensive side. This mountain is definitely worth experiencing at least once.
