The Skiers' Guide to Cypress Mountain

The resort has quite a lot of runs. The snow for season 24/25 was amazing but 25/26 is not as good as of today.
I mostly do evening rides there. The views are stunning and slopes are not packed. The lodge and restaurant are quite nice. I also never had an issue with their customer service, always helpful and efficient.

WHEN THERE'S SNOW cypress is the best local hill in vancouver by far. Unfortunately there is a very sad snow pack this season, but that is beyond the resort's control. Parking situation has improved dramatically since they added the shuttle from the lower lots (you used to have to hike up from there).

Not a lot of snow this year so far, short but fun runs. Not a lot of people, good school, amazing views!

Still love how close it is for after work ride! Amazing local mountain with wide terrains for all levels. Ski school also very well run and can take kids as young as 3.

Excellent runs and value for a small local mountain!
Food is expensive and not very good, but lift lines are quick and lots of great terrain.

Always raining and boyne resorts is almost as money hungry as vail so watch your wallet. good selection of rental gear though

Great ski school - the kids loved the instructor in the ski garden. Lift ques were never too long and every staff member we chatted to were happy to help.

I’ve been going to cypress for a couple of years now and I always will spend my money to go there because it’s the most beautiful runs with amazing views. It’s not too busy either during the season so I would definitely recommend checking it out!

The people at Cypress were amazing with the kids! Great private lessons, they felt encouraged and we had time to get some runs in.

Overall okay but the food quality is poor and the prices are high. The skiing is okay but the lineups are so long

Been going here since Ive started snowboarding nearly 20 years ago. All around good local mountain for all different skill levels. Would recommend to all thats here in the lower mainland of Vancouver,Bc. Best mountain to go to compared the the other two we have here in lower mainland.

One of the top local mountains in Vancouver, with gorgeous views, a nice variety of different levels of runs, and good vibes all around.

Have been skiing Cypress Bowl for many years....as this ski resort is literally in Vancouver...30 minutes from downtown...it provides in addition to fantastic skiing, home of freestyle skiing in 2010 Olympics....it has a huge parking area, lift attendants are friendly & helpful. Great local and family hill.

Cypress is the biggest local mountain for vancouverites. Its great value for money for those who want to go skiing after work as night riding is open until 10pm. It can get very busy here on the weekends but the weeknights seem to have short lines. Decent runs for a small mountain. For more advanced skiers/riders you probably only need a couple hours up here, whereas beginners could probably spend the day.There are lots of beginners scattered on the mountain who dont know proper mountain etiquette, so you have to be extra alert when coming down busier runs.

Cypress is a good mountain if you dont want to drive far from Vancouver. Can get busy with ski school thought. Family friendly

Fun mountain to board on. Not a huge amount of snow in the years I've gone but overall not bad. Night skiing is pretty decent but can be a little busy in the day time. Lift lines are usually around a 5 minute wait on average.

An excellent facility. Not too busy. Lovely snow conditions. Beautiful city views. Excellent food choices.

I always enjoy my time when snowboarding at Cypress. The runs are typically busy, but around night ski time it becomes less busy and you are able to snowboard with more relaxation and ease.
