Overview
Cypress Mountain is a popular spot, especially since it's so close to Vancouver. The views of the city and the ocean from up here are amazing. They've got a wide range of trails, so no matter your skill level, you'll find something fun. The resort has a lively vibe, with lots of skiers and snowboarders hanging out. After skiing, the lodge is a great place to grab a bite and share stories from the slopes. It's also got some good night skiing, which is definitely worth checking out.

Cypress is the best skiing for locals in Vancouver, but can be icy and crowded. Parking is incredibly difficult, but lifts are fast and terrain is excellent for intermediate skiiers. Lessons are great quality. No real apres activity, but you are only 30 minutes from Vancouver.

Great mountain baked into the city, but unfortunately subject to huge crowds and difficult traffic to get there because of how convenient it is.

Tucked away in the snowy wonderland, this 4-star ski resort offers a sweet spot between luxury and thrill. Whether you're cozying up in a snug chalet or enjoying the view from a spacious suite, the vibe is all about comfort meets adventure. With slopes for every skill level and instructors ready to guide, it's a paradise for skiers and snowboarders. Plus, after a day of shredding, there's nothing like kicking back with some good food or pampering yourself at the spa. It's the perfect recipe for a winter getaway that hits all the right notes.

Out of the three resorts bordering vancouver cypress is the best, they boast the most amount of runs and are incredibly well looked after. You can spend a whole week there without it getting too repetitive. The snow parks are slightly lacking however mid season they build a wicked bowl and some other features however these are only available for a month or so. There is very little off pieste but the groomed runs offer a nice variation. The food and customer service in the lodge is great!

Resort gets quite busy on weekends so Id try weekdays in the mornings. It gets busy week nights too due to it being close to the city so people who get off work commonly go after 5:00. Snow is consistently solid and staff are quite nice.
