Updated September 2026

Welcome to the ultimate guide to the best snowboarding destinations in the USA, as rated by real riders who've carved these mountains. These rankings come straight from our Snomad community – fellow powder hunters who know their toe-side from their heel-side. One Snomad community member liked that we only include resorts with sufficient ratings, ensuring you get the most accurate picture of what awaits you on the slopes. Been riding recently? Share your own experience and help fellow boarders find their perfect mountain.

Check out our other USA resort rankings for Terrain Parks, Off-Piste, Powder Zones and Tree Skiing – because great boarding isn't just about the halfpipe!
