First time back skiing after many years and this was the perfect place to get back on skis! The variety of ability slops is perfect, the mapping makes it so easy to navigate. A great number of cafes/bars on the slopes perfect for a mid ski snack and energy boost before hitting the slopes again. Extremely kind staff who are happy to help and guide whenever you need and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning again next winter!!

Ive visited Pila twice for family ski holidays and, honestly, the value you get for what you pay is incredible. A 5 day lift pass was around 190 and the gondola ride up to the resort itself was incredibly efficient.

You have an abundance of options from the moment you get off the gondola to ease your way into the day with some steady blues and easy reds or you can go straight up to the tighter black runs without having to wait in queues.

The pistes are groomed fantastically and theres always the option of taking the off-piste route (which I enjoyed A LOT). There are plenty of cafe/bars on the slopes that are so well priced.

Ski and equipment hire is as easy as it comes and so well priced, I doubt there are many places that can be beaten on value.

Aosta itself is a beautiful town, rich in beautiful architecture and packed with places to enjoy a drink or go out for food (Bataclan in Aosta is an absolute MUST).

We got around on public transport that was incredibly efficient and cheaper than any other way of getting a round. We even got the train from Turin to Aosta (a 2 hour+ train journey) for about 15 each and the trains were so clean and great value.

Already looking at going again when the time comes!

Small resort which is ok there are other options form the Costa Bally to visit as you dont need more than 2 days in Pila. Or if your a beginner maybe pila would be ok for a week

Great resort, easy to reach by car from London (UK). A good middle-size resort, amazing for families with its wide trails and good prices. Food is amazing, ski lessons and rentals are very economical, beautiful views. You can stay in Aosta and take the gondola up!
