Cervinia - Breuil Reviews & Ratings

We visited Cervinia two years in a row over the Christmas period, in a large family group of 10 with two small children. The resort is easily accessible by car from Turin airport, from memory the transfer was less than 1h30mins. The village itself is beautiful with a Main Street on which many lovely restaurants and shops can be found. The village is easily accessible from the slopes and one can ski right back to village level easily, a few members of our group based themselves at the bottom of the blue no.5 slope in a coffee shop, this way it was very easy to regroup regularly.

The resort offers many km of wonderful pistes which are very snow sure due to the village height. The runs are varied and cater for all levels. Our youngest member took private lessons on a 1-1 basis which we couldnt recommend more, these took place from Plan Maison. The resort is better catered for on piste skiing compared with off piste. We took full area passes on a couple of days and skied over to Zermatt which was breathtaking. Although be sure to check the lifts to access the Swiss side are open before purchasing as when winds pick up lifts are often closed. We got caught out once! It is possible to ski over to Zermatt early and enjoy a number of runs on the Swiss side before returning to Cervinia, this is a brilliant day out skiing!

A fantastic resort which I have visited now 3 times. We love going here as a family if we are skiing at a time of the year when snow conditions are uncertain as due to its height you are more or less guaranteed good snow here! The ski runs come right down to village level where there is lots of lovely cafes and restaurants which makes it nice if some of your party arent skiing as they still can very much feel a part of the trip. Perfect for families too as there is a brilliant play park and sledging park for kids located at the bottom of the piestes!

The runs at this resort are really nice and long which are good for beginners whilst there is also a lot more challenging runs to have a go at as well.
From this resort you can easily ski over into Zermatt which is a nice day out. Food is relatively cheap to eat out compared to lots of other ski resorts. The village itself is great as well with lots of accommodation of varying quality and price.

Ive skied in Cervinia from when I was 6, until the age of 22. While at the time I wasnt into off-piste and pow skiing, I can say that the groomers in Cervinia are excellent, very well taken car of, and that I have rarely experienced line ups at the lifts, despite going to ski most often on weekends.

Cervinia is a good value, family friendly resort with plenty of skiing for all levels. It has the benefit of offering a route into Zermatt in Switzerland providing access to more extensive and more difficult skiing for the adventurous. The village is relatively quiet with a good selection of restaurants at reasonable prices. Apres ski is available but you have to positively look for it. It certainly cannot be described as rowdy.!
