What Skiers Say About Les 2 Alpes

Les 2 Alpes attracts a mixed crowd of beginners through to advanced skiers and snowboarders, with families and groups of friends in their twenties being common. The high altitude consistently delivers good snow conditions, and the lift system—particularly the new Jandri lift—receives widespread praise for minimal queuing. Reviewers frequently mention the lively après-ski scene at Pano Bar and Umbrella Bar, though opinions on the skiing area size vary, with some feeling the advertised piste kilometres overstate the actual terrain. The lower slopes, particularly the narrow runs back to the village at the end of the day, are repeatedly criticised for being icy, overcrowded, and challenging. Most visitors appreciate the range of restaurants and bars in the town, though some note limited and expensive on-mountain dining options.

Great slopes and parks, but the restaurants were very disappointing and not many of them. Most nights ended up in a burger place think it was call buzz something, great food but only choice most nights.
Few bars to hang at and there was more of these than places to eat out.
Seemed most places were al shut up by 9pm to.

This was my first time skiing and it far exceeded my expectations! The ski school was great and there were loads of runs I could do as a beginner, including going all the way from the top down blue runs the whole way down. Would highly recommend to anyone, even more advanced skiiers.

Cons - lots of flats for snowboarders! My poor skiing friends had to pull me a lot! But otherwise good runs!

This was our first family ski trip. We were very disappointed that we had to take a bus to get to the lifts - we booked through Heidi and ‘ski in ski out’ was a top priority for us. Instead we had to walk to the bus, battle to get on it, then walk the other end, all while lugging our gear. The ski school and nursery slopes were good and both kids went from beginners to competent skiers in one week. As a veteran skier I found the slopes easy but this suited me fine. Overall the trip was a success and I learned to work harder next time to get ‘ski in ski out’

Les 2 Alpes is a convenient resort to get to, it's not the largest resort but you can escape the crowds. The mountain bars are great, good views and vibes!

Prices of food and drink were reasonable for a ski resort. Beautiful views and a popular place to be. Loads of restaurants and shops. Green slopes were more dangerous than the easier blues I thought. A lot more narrow and had a lot more people going down which caused a lot of melted snow areas. A lot of Inexperienced skiers/snowboarders on a narrow slope doesn’t go well. Apres was awesome, skiing down for a pint was brilliant. There’s a bar halfway down the mountain that you can ski to and is the most lively place during the day. It’s got good music and good vibes from everyone there. Can be very crowded when we went for the festival, almost impossible to get on set times. Don’t know how drinking and skiing isn’t illegal yet as well haha. So many accidents happen. Overall it was a great trip and would 100% do it again.

It’s an amazing, friendly place, easy to travel too that doesn’t take forever. And when if you lost confidence in skiing or snowboarding it’s a perfect place to pick it back up again.

I went to UCPA in L2A again and had a great time. The snow quality was better late Feb early march than in late march for sure. The apres were busy and fun, snow good and Piste’s not tooooo bad

I’ve been to Les 2 alpes a couple of times. It’s a great party place for apres ski but it’s not got the range of skiing or snowboarding to make it a top destination for the pistes. I did do a skidoo trip and parascending though, the latter being incredible!
