Such fun good slopes - well kept even though there was little snow (canons kept the slopes is good condition). Apres is super fun and locals are so easy to get on with - kept a few lifts open for me and my sister to do a few late skis

Went in early April for spring skiing. Good value and a large proportion of runs and lifts were still open with excellent views and not too crowded. However, snow quality by the end of the season nearer to the base was poor - last run of the day was unpleasant due to snow slush and deep moguls with no alternative route.

Ischgl is a nice resort with good snow quality and snow sure but it feels small. It has quite a few bottlenecks even though the lift system is insane: every lift is a 6 or 8 seater or a big gondola.
It is busy and the apres ski is legendary, sure. But I feel like this resort is still a bit overrated. Good quality, just too expensive in my opinion. Stay in Kappl or See to get cheaper accommodation while also enjoying some fun smaller resorts for more variation because a good skier will feel like they have seen all of Ischgl pretty quickly.

A super all-round resort to cater for any skier/boarder or non-skier.
Beautiful village, with loads of options for après ski and many restaurants to choose from.
Super-efficient lift system, and amazing variety of pistes to choose from.

Ischgl is by far the best ski destination I’ve been to in Austria so far. Getting to the main gondola is very convenient with underground parking and once you are up, you have what feels like unlimited ski hills. Everything is accessible from the main gondola which lets you explore the Austrian and Swiss side of the mountain. Lots of hill varieties, good snow quality, lots of restaurant options on the hills and in the village that were nice. Apres ski was very fun on the mountain and lots of options to go to in the village

Really well maintained resort security throughout the town very safe. Lots of apres bars and lovley hotels and restaurants

Excellent resort, well linked up and modern lift system. Huge variety of runs including skiing into Switzerland where some great runs down to the village.
Snow conditions and powder into April in the high altitude areas.
Small pension and small hotel options available. Lively and friendly apre-ski made for a super atmosphere.

Amazing resort! Quite expensive but very beautiful. Unfortunately no fresh snow for a while! But the snow cannons help, but quite icy.

Just a great place to ski all day on a variety of perfect pistes.

Ischgl- fantastic variety of terrain. Snow sure throughout the season. Great lift system, modern and fast so quick queues even at busy times.

Outstanding lift system. Nice groomed slopes but can get quite busy and also cut up later in the day. Fairly limited off-piste.
Very nice village with a good selection of upmarket accommodation. Great apres - most people a little older than you might expect.

We had a great experience in Ischgl in April, almost end of season. Sunny and warm weather, great snow despite the sun. Only red slopes leading down to the village which difficult for beginners. So beginners take the cabin lift down. But there are plenty of blue slopes higher up the mountain.

Ischgl is a skiers paradise, lots of different terrain, pistes are well laid out and well maintained. It is busy though especially getting up the mountain in the mornings and around the Idalp area but it doesnt take long to find the pistes less used by ski schools and avoid the bottlenecks that there are on the easier blue runs. Lifts are modern, high capacity and the heated seats are a real luxury!
Apres ski options in Ischgl are rightly famed, noisy and boisterous, great for the younger crowd and older party animals.

Fab resort, lots of options for all ranges of skier/snowboarder. Lift infrastructure is very modern and fast.

Lots of blue/red/black runs,including a v.v steep run - 14a.

Options to ski in Switzerland for duty free needs and nice lunch!
