Its the best youll find in southern Ontario, and they know it, and theyll fleece you for it. Go in the morning for decent conditions and runs. It gets overrun and chewed up by 1-2pm on any given weekend. Theres also a lot of inexperienced and inebriated skiers in the evenings and nights who ski dangerously. Ive experienced a lot of unprofessionalism here ranging from rentals to restaurants. If youre travelling, dont bother but if you live in the area and want to ski a run with a vertical that takes more than 15 seconds to get down, this is the only spot.

Great place. Not the biggest mountain. Good snow making ability and this year has been great with lots of snow and even powder on occasions

Great ski resort for all experience levels. Went with friend group where most of us were beginner skiers, and we gradually got better throughout the day. Easy to rent equipment and multiple trails to choose from. Ski lift moves efficiently.

Love it! Great hills and well kept. Worth the drive there. I would recommend it to everyone. Also the food is good.

expensive and really crowded makes for a moderate experience. we prefer to go elsewhere because it's not even that close by!

Great place especially for beginners to learn/practice snowboarding or skiing if you live in Ontario. I believe every level rider will find a slope to enjoy since they have diamond, double diamond slopes and 4 terrain parks.There are other resorts closer to Toronto but they are smaller and dont offer the wide range of other activities for the whole family that Blue Mountain has. Many dinning options in the village as well as accommodation Overall , nice place to spend the weekend

Always love taking the glade runs on the Orchard Lift (my favorite). The North side is also a great addition, be careful on the Elevator Shaft! Love going for Aprés Skiing afterwards, the firehouse pizza place is excellent for food as well!

Best slopes for the GTA people. Nicely groomed and fun trails. Avoid going on the weekend tho, too busy and with too many people learning so its hard to keep the flow.

Enjoyed myself, some icy bits but may have been the weather. Staff was helpful with any questions I had and the lifts were quick. Went on a Wednesday it was pretty quiet which was nice.

Loved it there staying in the village was a pleasure! So many great spots to eat with so many cool shops! And the slopes were great!

Blue Mountain is a fantastic destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The hiking trails and skiing slopes are well-maintained, offering something for all skill levels. The scenery is absolutely stunning. Overall, its a great place for a weekend getaway, but a little more attention to guest experience during busy seasons would elevate it even more. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a very popular tourist destination in Canada so can get very busy on holidays and weekends. To the point where they start turning people away in the afternoon. Otherwise Blue Mountain is a great Ski Resort especially for Ontario. It has the largest amount of runs and a wide range of runs from anywhere from beginner to advanced. They also have lovely staff who are very helpful and accommodating at every corner of the resort. There and many activities to enjoy aside from just skiing as well. Skating, tree top trekking, mountain coaster, and so much more. Something for everyone. Like I mentioned earlier, very popular for tourist so the prices at shops, restaurants and hotels can be quite inflated, and it can be hard to book last minute. Definitely try to book things in advance. Overall, a great experience for all ages.

I recently had the chance to ski at Blue Mountain, and I have to say, it was an impressive experience overall. Located in Ontario, Blue Mountain offers one of the best ski destinations in the region, with a wide variety of slopes suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders.Terrain & Trails:The mountain has 42 slopes spread across 3 distinct areas, each offering a unique challenge. The runs are well-maintained, with a solid mix of beginner, intermediate, and expert-level trails. I particularly enjoyed the variety of terrain park options, as Blue Mountain has something for everyone, from smooth, wide-open runs to more challenging mogul trails and steep drops. The views from the top are stunning, especially on clear days.Lift System:The lift system is fairly efficient, with a good mix of high-speed quads and surface lifts. Wait times were generally short, even on busier days, which was a relief. The lines are well-organized, and the staff on the lifts were friendly and helpful.Snow Conditions:The snow conditions during my visit were great, with the resort making use of snowmaking capabilities to keep runs in good shape, especially early in the season. The quality of the snow was generally consistent, with a good balance of powder and packed snow, although I can imagine it could get a bit icy during warmer stretches.Amenities & Après-Ski:Off the slopes, Blue Mountain excels in providing a well-rounded experience. The village at the base of the mountain has a good selection of restaurants, shops, and bars. I particularly enjoyed the après-ski atmosphere at the local pubs and lounges, where you can grab a drink and unwind after a day on the hill. The resort also has a spa for those looking to relax further.Accommodation:There are plenty of lodging options nearby, ranging from cozy mountain-side condos to more luxurious resorts. I stayed at one of the on-site accommodations, and it was perfectcomfortable, spacious, and with easy access to the slopes. The convenience of staying so close to the lifts was a huge plus.Overall Experience:I had a fantastic time at Blue Mountain. Its an excellent choice for a ski trip, whether you're a seasoned skier or just learning. The variety of terrain, excellent facilities, and friendly atmosphere really make it stand out. The only downside is that it can get a little crowded during peak times, but with so many trails, its easy to find a quieter spot.Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Blue Mountain offers a great mix of skiing, snowboarding, and overall winter fun. Ill definitely be back!

I really enjoyed skiing here. Everyone is super friendly and ski patrol is always there to help out.

Great location close to the GTA. Less packed if you can avoid going on the weekends! The lifts are a bit slow but great experience otherwise.

I liked the trails however there werent many options and due to the nature of the mountain the trails are very short from top to bottom.

Been skiing at Blue Mountain for 34 years! I've seen it transform into many places and vibes but it hasn't necessarily been the development of the hill and quality of skiing. The amenities are great but the hill could be used better

Great spot for skiing, not that we have much choice in Ontario. The trails are well-groomed and suit all skill levels. There are good food options and a cozy atmosphere. Beginners will appreciate the lessons, while experienced skiers can enjoy more challenging runs. The lifts run smoothly, and parking is convenient. Overall, its a fun and relaxing place to spend a winter day.

We recently spent a weekend in blue mountain and had amazing time with friends there! There are lots of activities in the village including live music and DJs. Lots of food options. Had a great time!
