This has been the best ski season in Ontario for the last decade! So much snow and even a few legit ‘eastern powder’ days! Lots of sunshine and cold temps make for perfect skiing with consistent snow conditions and very little ice on the hills. Terrain parks have soft landings and very little ice build up. Get out there and ride!!!

Can get very busy during the winter season so might have to park further! Lots of things to do in the village even if you don't do any winter activities. If you do the activities, there are plenty of spaces to have fun!

Blue mountain is actually a pretty price efficient hill to visit if you are a beginner like me! They have a deal for beginners that allows them to have a lift ticket (to beginner hills) and rental gear for around $100. For people who are already spending a lot of money on a ski weekend, this is a pretty good value.

Very beginner friendly, great staff, open and accommodating, close to collingwood and wasaga beach. Great lessons and instructors as well as summer programs. Can be crowded in the afternoon so morning hours are recommended.

Best resort for Ontario skiing. Lots of slopes usually in pretty good condition (minus a few icey patches). Lots of places to eat/drink right at the bottom of slopes. Tubing and a roller coaster for people who don’t want to shred.

We’ve been frequenting Blue Mountain for many years. As far as Ontario skiing goes, it’s about the best.

Recommended you go on a week day, and the south side of the mountain is particularly good for “longer” more open runs. And often a bit less busy.

The village is beautiful and a fun experience.

Highly recommend renting an Airbnb nearby.

Close to Collingwood and all amenities.

Scandinavian spa about a 10min drive away as well.

Blue Mountain is always lively. It's well maintained and the best destination for Ontario Skiing and Snowboarding for sure. Some complain about how busy the lifts can get on weekends which is fair. It's certainly not to the point that it will ruin the amount of runs you can get in. Explore the different lifts and you'll find yourself in less busy areas throughout the day. The blue mountain village and accomodations are great. For cheaper alternatives you can always book near by and drive in. Theres plenty of runs for beginners to intermediate to advanced riders and skiers . Would always recommend!

Blue Mountain isn’t huge, but it’s a lot of fun. The runs are well laid out, the grooming is good, and the snowmaking does its job, so conditions are *usually* dependable. It’s great for cruising, lapping runs, and working on turns without wasting time on long lifts. The village gives it a lively feel, and being close to the city makes it an easy go-to. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t try to be something it’s not.

When I visited blue mountain last year I had a great experience. As a beginner I found that they had great options for different ski levels and were well groomed. The view and atmosphere was breathtaking with lots to do around the ski hills as well as the ski hills are very efficient. However it can get busy on the weekends. But overall it is a great ski hill to bring family and friends.

We come every Christmas break for a day. Love the variety. Staff is friendly. Due to the proximity to Toronto, there are many non-skiers that make questionable decisions that influence the safety of others. Luckily the hill is large enough to dilute them. Apparently it is busier in the summer than winter ski season. For the top canopy area. Please add some heater lamps to make that watering hole a more pleasant area to enjoy the view.

Blue Mountain is a lot of fun for all levels of abilities. Even if you don’t ski or snowboard there is something to do. The village is nice with many food options. After a day at the hill you can grab a pint or non alcoholic bevi at the top bar with a great view.
Would recommend if you are in Southern Ontario.

Good for Ontario skiing. Village is a lot of fun. Lifts are good on week days and evenings but extremely busy on weekends and you will be waiting a while for each run. Has a good variety of easy and more advanced runs!

Always a good time and the best for local Ontario runs.

Efficient for the volume at lifts, could use a bit more for the apres but all in all a good spot.
