Sun Peaks shines best when you go as a group. Unfortunately little Pow to be found each time I went (mother natures fault), but we were a group of broad skiing/riding ability and were easily able to have a great group trip and got to stick together the whole time - the size of Sun Peaks provides great terrain for the little ones and beginners as well as more advance terrain. Im not a great park rider, but the park was impressively set up to be as enticing as possible and even I enjoyed lapping it - something I never enjoy at my home hill.

Our backyard playground. Yes its the second largest in Canada has great facilities and a solid reputation as a family resort. Typically its not that busy, weekends and holidays can get jammed lines but they do move nicely. The upside at SP, family satisfaction, park, groomers, trees and some steeps are all easily accessible. The downside, not enough exposure/steeps to satisfy the older kids (and adult kids at heart), doesnt get the big powder dumps and are making real estate driven investments vs rider experience investments.

Incredible European style village, the friendliest locals, and impossible to get lost with all runs funnelling you to the base area. Wide, open runs with minimal lift lines even on busy days.
