What Skiers Say About Revelstoke

Revelstoke attracts predominantly advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders seeking deep powder and challenging terrain. Users consistently highlight exceptional tree skiing, long vertical runs, and frequent snowfall that creates excellent off-piste conditions. The resort is praised for minimal lift queues outside peak periods, though gondola waits can exceed 30-40 minutes after fresh snowfall on weekends and holidays. Several reviewers note the limited lift infrastructure for the mountain's size, requiring traverses that challenge snowboarders. Lower elevation runs frequently suffer from warm temperatures and poor snow quality, while upper mountain terrain remains snow-sure. The town is close to the resort but separated, affecting après-ski convenience.

This is my favourite mountain. The snow quality, the tree runs, powder stashes everywhere. I learned how to freeride here. I want to return soon. It has been far too long Revy.

Revelstoke is an amazing resort for intermediate - advanced skier/snowboarders. The terrain is great and powder days frequent. Wouldnt necessarily recommend for beginners or families, as green runs/beginner areas are limited compared to other resorts.

Revelstoke is the resort to go to for and when Powder falls. The best runs and off piece terrain in Canada for sure. Super long runs, but there's enough variety to keep you entertained. The food options need some work and it's not very family friendly (there's no large lodge and only 1 food option).

Revy is one of the busier resorts for a reason. It used to be heliskiing so the terrain is awesome. Small town vibe for apres-ski. Lifts can be a bit long at times but the wait is worth.

Best resort of all time for long backcountry powder runs. Japan powder but with Canadian mountain terrain. Can't beat it. In 10-20 years when the mountain and town is more delevoped it's going to be the most epic resort to visit.

Revie was amazing! I was visiting a friend who worked at the restaurant. Its the biggest hill Ive ever been on so it was a bit intimidating. I stuck mainly to green and blue and could manage fine. Just do what you're comfortable with.

Revelstoke is my favourite mountain to ride! It has the best runs and beautiful views from the top of the mountain . The lift ticket prices are affordable compared to other resorts like Whistler . coming from Saskatchewan all we have are flat fields so its a refreshing change to this Rocky Mountain resort !

Best powder Ive ever riden. Hill closed at noon the third day so safety was clearly a concern due to high winds. Not a large village but plenty of accommodations.

probably the coolest resort I've ever been to - must see just for the scenery alone - classic canadian landscapes

and also the runs were sweet - all pretty long, a good variation in skill levels so you can get exactly what you're looking for, but the majority were not so steep that you're white-knuckling it all the way down, just the perfect slope for enjoying yourself.

must see!

This mountain is the best with lots of snow. Really fun tree runs and epic glades.
Went when it was amazing snow and pure ice. Highly recommend checking conditions before going because snowboarding on ice was not fun!
Otherwise I recommend this mountain in BC over any resort in Alberta

Revelstoke has got to be one of the most magical mountain resorts I've ever been to! There's so many different runs to take. One day at the resort is not enough time to get to all of the runs. When I went it, it was snowing at the top, foggy in the middle and raining closer to the base. Coolest experience I've ever had snowboarding. I'm honestly counting down the days I can to back and spend 4 days out there. It was truly amaaaazing!!!!!!

Highest vertical of any resort in North America. Limited lifts, but somehow an incredible amount of rideable terrain. As a snowboarder, this means lots of traversing - it is definitely a ski-focused resort. Runs are steep, and can get seriously moguled-up. But the snow and tree runs, the countless bowls, and endless back country make up for it. Will delight even the most experienced skiers and riders. Breathtaking.

My favourite ski resort in Canada! The off piste and bowls are the best there is! It is also very quiet compared to other ski resorts in Canada (Banff, Whistler). Revelstoke is a small town so not many accommodation options
