What Skiers Say About Revelstoke

Revelstoke attracts predominantly advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders seeking deep powder and challenging terrain. Users consistently highlight exceptional tree skiing, long vertical runs, and frequent snowfall that creates excellent off-piste conditions. The resort is praised for minimal lift queues outside peak periods, though gondola waits can exceed 30-40 minutes after fresh snowfall on weekends and holidays. Several reviewers note the limited lift infrastructure for the mountain's size, requiring traverses that challenge snowboarders. Lower elevation runs frequently suffer from warm temperatures and poor snow quality, while upper mountain terrain remains snow-sure. The town is close to the resort but separated, affecting après-ski convenience.

Overall it's a huge resort with just barely enough lifts to make it work. On a midweek low season day it feels like you have the mountain to yourself, on a high season day when it's snowed more than 15cm, get ready to wait in line for 30-40min per lap. Things have a tendency to quiet down by 1:30-2pm but you'd better know your way around the mountain of you expect to ski any good snow by then.

Boarders, get ready to unstrap: the minimal lift infrastructure means you will be doing long traverses to get around the mountain and pushing thru the flats. The owners of the resort are billionaires who only care about real estate profits so don't expect any new lifts in the near future.

Went here in march so only half the hill was open. Bottom of the mountain was 21degrees Celsius while the top was -4 Celsius. Great mountain to ski on. Lots of hills to challenge yourself on, with lots of back trails to go to. Helicopter skiing is available. Green run is 12 kilometers long and takes about 25 minutes to get to the first gondola from top of the mountain.

This is a great hill. The snow can be sticky and warm. Need to hit it when it’s right like any hill.

Revelstoke had low crowds and great terrain. We got unlucky with little snow but still had fun on some groomers.

Great mountain! We ended up riding the same area all day because the snow was best there. There are some areas that are more beginner - friendly, but as a whole the mountain is pretty steep with lots of snow. Super fun trees!

This mountain is incredible. So much fun powder! The Rockford restaurant is very good, but wish the resort had more food options. I believe this is on the way!

Skiing was awesome, not a beginner hill but as an intermediate- advanced skier it was just phenomenal. Food at base was great, food at the outpost was good. Staff was friendly and able to help.

Revelstoke is where you go to get lots of vertical and great snow in western Canada. Having been to several resorts in BC and Alberta, Revy stands out as a place with lots of terrain variation, long runs, and frequent dumps of snow.

Great ski area but it’s sprawled out and could use a few more lifts. But excellent snow conditions and friendly staff.

Unbelievable off piste and tree skiing. Just a shame the town is a short drive from the slopes as it makes the apres disjointed. But that’s the same for
Most of North America.

We went to Revy this year for the first time and I absolutely loved it as an advance rider. It has really nice tree and powder terrain, both steep & mellow options, and the snow stays dry and fluffy all the time!

Great powder resort, lots of possibilities for tree runs. Lots of fluffy snow. During the week it's pretty empty, but on the weekend + powder day the lift queues are too long. 40min+ at the gondola and 30min at the chairlift. The lift tickets are 190$, so if you want sth for your money go there during the week, not worth on a weekend. By lunch we did only 4 runs, because we spent most of our time standing in line (on a Saturday) during the week no queues at all! Best tree runs of my life

Fantastic resort with back country vibe. Powder is insane.

Lift lines for the gondola can be long in the early morning after a big snow. Be patient as it is worth the wait.

This is my favourite mountain to ski! It is always an amazing time. The small town has lots of food options and accommodation. The hill is pretty steep which makes it great for snowboarders. It also seems to get the best powder!
