What Skiers Say About Revelstoke

Revelstoke attracts predominantly advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders seeking deep powder and challenging terrain. Users consistently highlight exceptional tree skiing, long vertical runs, and frequent snowfall that creates excellent off-piste conditions. The resort is praised for minimal lift queues outside peak periods, though gondola waits can exceed 30-40 minutes after fresh snowfall on weekends and holidays. Several reviewers note the limited lift infrastructure for the mountain's size, requiring traverses that challenge snowboarders. Lower elevation runs frequently suffer from warm temperatures and poor snow quality, while upper mountain terrain remains snow-sure. The town is close to the resort but separated, affecting après-ski convenience.

North bowl was awesome. I recommend hiking to the top after taking all the lifts it was definitely worth it. So much to explore on this mountain I wish I had more days but all in all a fantastic mountain and resort.

Had the best time, every run was groomed very nicely. There is terrain for anyone. As a beginner the green runs were kind of tight but because they were groomed so well it felt so easy

Love it here it was beautiful but certainly challenging for an intermediate snowboarder. We have friends that lived close so it was great to visit and go a couple days. Downtown is really great and close to the hill.

Revelstoke is my favourite ski resort in the world. Not for the faint of heart, but it will leave you feeling a true sense of outdoors and adventure.

I would not recommend for beginner skiers.

Revelstoke has so much to offer!! Its more of a skiers resort due to the flat parts where you have to skate to get to certain chairlifts, but as a skier (selfishly) it works out well! (No hate to snowboarders yall rock too). The Summit has so many amazing bowls to choose from with amazing 360 views at the top. Just watch in the tree runs that you dont go too far downhill because you can cliff yourself out and theres little to no cell service in there in case youre in an emergency. Hard to choose between this mountain, Golden and Lake Louise, but it competes for the #1 spot for my favourite mountain!

Revelstoke is my favourite ski resort period. You can escape in to either the North Bowl or Greely and ski in fresh powder all day. Or you can ski the multitude of more accessible runs and hit the glades between runs. Tons of amazing glades all over the mountain. Lots of places to stay in town or on the resort. Anywhere in town is just minutes to the mountain. Great experience all around and skiing/boarding you wont soon forget.

Revelstoke was one of my favorite resorts of all time! Deep powder runs. No crowds. Perfect place to get away from it all and buried in the trees. Perfect level of challenge for an intermediate /advanced rider! If I had more money would love to do the heli-ski next time! I wouldnt call it family friendly per se but that depends on the level and ages of your kids! Not really an apres-ski hotspot but theres plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and a drink in town. Would definitely recommend for powder and remoteness!

This is the mountain I learnt to ski on and its considered a hidden gem in Canada. Id certainly never heard of it before I moved to revelstoke and it will always have a special place in my heart! Its a steep mountain but theres plenty of beginner friendly runs too and it gets some great powder too , meaning its good for every rider level. The burger at the Mackenzie outpost is also amongst the best Ive ever had!!

Absolutely amazing resort. My favorite. Great groomers incredibly long if desired. Amazing tree skiing. Plenty of terrain for everybody the snow here is incredible and they get Snow all the time. Amenities are fantastic. There are washrooms or out houses at the bottom and top of every chairlift as well as warming huts that you could even have lunch if desired. The resort is out incredibly well. Yes, services is amazing

One of the best resorts in Canada. We always ski Revy for the tree runs, and there is no other resort in Canada that compares. The lower elevation is generally icy and rocky, but the powder up top compensates for the rocky bottom slopes! Would recommend getting the gondola down instead of skiing back down to the village.

This place has been slowly morphing into a world class ski area. It has a mix of great resort amenities but doesn't need to go crazy as it's so close to a town that has the services to fill the gaps. As for the skiing.... do you like vertical?

Revelstoke is an amazing resort for intermediate - advanced skier/snowboarders. The terrain is great and powder days frequent. Wouldnt necessarily recommend for beginners or families, as green runs/beginner areas are limited compared to other resorts.

Revelstoke is the resort to go to for and when Powder falls. The best runs and off piece terrain in Canada for sure. Super long runs, but there's enough variety to keep you entertained. The food options need some work and it's not very family friendly (there's no large lodge and only 1 food option).
