Amazing inbounds skiing. Plenty of tree runs for all abilities and great snow conditions.

Coming from a European perspective, lifts suck but at least there are rarely queues. Apres is pretty tame, food on the hill was expensive and not great. Everyone is very friendly though.

Lift ticket is extortionate. We stayed with friends and got discounted passes, even so it was pricey.

Fernie has some great terrain but the resort has become quite crowded which detracts from the experience and means powder is tracked out very quickly. It sometimes rains which is not good for snow quality.

I grew up riding Fernie and its still one of my favorite resorts to ride. They get a ton of snow annually and have a great variety of terrain to ride from beginner to expert. The resort covers the lizard mountain range and when its snowing in Fernie you will never be disappointed. Great customer service and friendly staff also make this an amazing place to ride. Its a five star resort! I personally love white pass chair and spend most of my time in the higher alpine terrain where its steeper and deeper snow. They also recently opened polar peak chair which is very challenging for advanced riders and will challenge you to step up your level of riding if you want to push yourself. Dont hesitate to check out fernie alpine resort you will have an amazing experience and the town of fernie has lots of great restaurants and accommodations as well.

When they have fresh snow, the bowls are awesome. Can get warm and sticky wet snow during the winter. The bottom portion can even melt or get rained out and you gave to take the chair down.

If you want big mountain terrain, then Fernie is the place to go. With 5 different bowls each with different terrain types, Fernie is an absolute playground for the big mountain skier.

On a good snow day Fernie is hard to beat, Ive had so much fun skiing the trees, as well as the wide open bowls, and pretty long groomers too.

On a warm day make sure to stay high up, as thats where youll find the best snow for sure. Definitely recommend Fernie, top 3 resorts in Canada in my opinion.

Fernie is the perfect little mountain town. All that you would expect from a. Smaller resort. The terrain is varied and can be challenging with decent facilities, although some are a little dated. Overall a fantastic vibe.

We went to fernie on a school trip and at the time I was still learning to snowboard. We had to take lessons for a couple hours in the morning and the lessons were fantastic. Onecof my favourite mountains to go to. Fun trails and runs to go down

When conditions are good Fernie Alpine is on par with some of the best resorts in Canada.
The terrain has huge potential for advanced skiers however it is a relatively big area and has plenty of variety for beginners and intermediates.
On mountain dining options are limited as are options for accommodation however eating and staying in Fernie itself provides lots of variety and the short drive to the slopes each day is not really a problem.
On a powder day the place really comes into its own and once areas open there are almost limitless options to find new lines and you can still find untouched stashes days after a storm.

Great place to ski. Snow is amazing and runs are long and challenging. Plenty places to stay at since there was lots of buildings being built in the area.

Fernie is a hill for people who want to ride complex terrain and deep pow. People looking for the resort experience with lots of amenities off the hill are better suited to visit areas like whistler or big white, but if you came to ski, fernie is for you! The skiing is second to none and the famous fernie factor never disappoints. There is terrain for all abilities to challenge themselves, and excellent slack-country access. There are a lot of traverses to get to some of the areas, so snowboarders need a high skill level to access the entirety of what fernie has to offer. Locals are friendly and smiles are everywhere!

You don't go to Fernie Alpine to show off your fit or your G turns. You go for that legendary powder. When you're up to your eyeballs in champagne powder wishing you had brought a snorkel, you'll be fine grabbing a hot chocolate in a day lodge that hasn't changed since 1988.

Cool city, great staff. Lines can get backed up. Bowls are temperamental and dependant on conditions. As a boarder, a few flat areas to watch for. Worth the trip.

Been skiing here since I was 8 and lived out there for 4 winters. Great mountain for all ages and experience levels, friendly staff everywhere, great snow and minimal lift lines even on weekend and holidays. Some of the most fun skiing in North America with the best views and best snow. Backcountry access from both sides of resort, tons of steep and deep runs available in bounds.

Been going for years, on my own, with the kids, always a good time.

On hill accommodations and high speed lifts not quite as good as some resorts, but consistently good conditions up high.

They have a rail park but would love a public jump section.

This resort always has great snow, good people and an awesome town. From endless amount of terrain to ride Fernie has never failed in the amount of snow accumulation it has every time we've gone there. It's one of our top food places to snowboard.
