Icy the day we visited but a good resort not massive and quite expensive but nice tree lined runs. Some fun areas and nice town with all the amenities.

Skiing was great had a awsome powder day. The cliffs mixed in to the tree runs and bit of more alpine terrain above is awsome. Not much of a park to speak of but a bunch of run then apres beers in the griz hit the spot especially when drinking with friends when a pitcher is only $22. Love this resort

It was fun. Not crazy busy but definitely still lots of people. Snow was good in some areas but gets icy in some runs so you gotta just ride it out and find the runs you like

I grew up in Fernie, what a magical place to be! Skied the hill for many, many years. Been to many other hills in Canada but Fernie will always be my favourite in my heart. So many bowls to ski, lifts and runs to explore. The scale of the hill is great and not too long for wait times. Even in tougher snow years Fernie has always lived up to its powder conditions! If you haven’t skied Fernie yet, it should be on your list!

Slow start to the season following recent rain. But this resort has huge potential for any and all sliding aficionados. Something for everyone.

Stayed at a VRBO condo 5 min walk to lifts. Good accommodations. Ski conditions varied over the two weeks, between glorious sunshine and blue skies, and snow. Both were fabulous!

Fernie is a great resort for off-piste, powder and tree runs. The whole resort is centred around different bowls so there is so much terrain to access with a bit of traversing. Super varied skiing/boarding. Not great for groomers though. Lifts are always quiet even on a powder day. The village has a nice vibe, lots of restaurants and some bars. Après and nightlife not great but still stuff going on. Would definitely recommend for quiet off-piste skiing.

This resort is 5 minutes from my house, so I’ve seen it shine with day after day of champagne powder, and I’ve seen some awful days with rain to the top and mashed potato conditions. Fernie shines mid-week when the slopes are deserted and you get fresh lap after fresh lap. Off-piste is best in peak season when features have filled in. Conditions aren’t guaranteed to be great, but if you hit a 15+ cm day head to Currie Bowl for some mellow blue glades. The rope drop is usually after Anaconda Glades open (11-12ish).

I had a wonderful trip to Fernie. Felt lowkey as there was no one on the mountain, no lift lines and a local atmosphere all around.

The powder was top notch and we spent the majority of our trip in the trees, finding fun new lines.

Would return!
