Big White Review Summary
Big White attracts a wide range of skiers and snowboarders, from families with young children to advanced riders seeking powder and tree runs. The most consistent praise centres on champagne powder snow, minimal lift queues (especially midweek), extensive tree skiing, and a compact, family-friendly village with ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Reviewers frequently mention the resort's suitability for all ability levels, though several note that even green runs can be steep. The most common complaint is poor visibility during storms, earning it the nickname 'Big White-Out' among locals. Some reviews highlight limited nightlife and après-ski options compared to larger resorts, and a few mention higher prices for food and accommodation.

Village was cute and had quite a few food options. Wish there were more grocery options (or maybe more reasonable ones), but overall loved walking through the village to enjoy the social scene after a day on the mountain.
I honestly dont think Ive had to wait more than 5 minutes in a ski line at big white at all. Maybe excluding opening day. They staff are very knowledgeable and very personable. Always looking forwards to giving out an open hand.
Much fun was had by the adults and teens
Will return.. wish there were more places to eat locally and a bit more space for apres ski beverages... but what are there are nice to chill at. Good condos for rent (pick your platform of choice). One hour away from Kelowna and neighbouring towns.. highway can get a bit dicey if weather is blooming..but an easy drive with upgrades underway.
Will return in a couple years... so many more places to go
Tips up!
Ridge/Snowghost is good but gets skied out super quick
