Overall family friendly and beginner friendly ski resort. I have enjoying my journey in learning here and have loved taking breaks in their nice lodges as well.

I grew up boarding here. Learned on this mountain. Watch it grow from a little family resort to the behemoth it is now. But you cant beat the mountain. Its in a league of its own.

Lodge is top notch and excellent food. Making your way over to the strawberry area is a must, rewarded with beautiful terrain.

Snowbasin is a truly remarkable ski resort that offers an unforgettable experience for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Nestled in the stunning Wasatch Range of Utah, Snowbasin combines world-class terrain, modern facilities, and breathtaking scenery into one incredible destination. Snowbasin boasts a diverse mix of runs, from wide-open groomers to challenging steeps, tree-lined trails, and powder-filled bowls. Beginners will appreciate the smooth greens like Strawberry Express, while advanced skiers can test their skills on Olympic-level runs such as Grizzly Downhill and Wildflower Downhill. The resorts vertical drop and variety make it appealing to everyone, whether youre a first-timer or a seasoned pro.

I loved snowbasin. The runs were great both groomed and powder runs were so much fun. And the lodges were super nice and cozy. There were lots of food options and the food was pretty good. The parking situation was very efficient. I went to Utah and skied 3 different ski resorts for the first time and Snowbasin was definitely my favorite.

Overall definitely not a bad resort by any means. But not the number 1 resort in the west, there are better groomed and better tans resorts thats have much more advanced lift systems and much better terrain of many types. As a strength for snowbasin they have a variety in terrain unlike most other resorts from shoots to good groomers to fun tree skiing but because of this variety these terrain types fall short in certain areas but a very fun variety in terrain. The resort being very dependent on gondolas makes it hard for lines and skiers to constantly walk back and fourth on the concrete when lines get long as they tend to do at the busy points in the year. Overall not a bad resort by any means but not number one I would ski big sky, Alta, or snowbird before snowbasin.

Snowbasin is one of the most underrated ski areas in the country. No hotels or motels close by so you have to stay in Ogden. The lodges are really castles!!! Some of the most beautiful lodges anywhere. Food is expensive and there is no brown bag area to eat. Powder stashes can be found days after storms blow through. Lots of terrain for those who want expert to beginners. We loved the fact that it was fairly empty in February. Beautiful scenery and very rustic!!! We will make it a point to go back!

This place is a hidden gem. I wasn't even planning on going but there was a ton of traffic to snowbird so we audibled last minute. The mountain was so much fun, I'd definitely plan to do a trip back. Really solid off-piste terrain, minimal lines, and pretty wide open.

Great resort but how do people afford to go 5-20 times without buying a season pass , 150-200$ adult/allday? I cant afford that then $15 for a beer and 20$ for burger only.
