They'd been a shortage of fresh snowfall on the run up, so we were unsure of what to expect.
Evenso the slopes were managed and pisted superbly.
The resort has plenty of snow canons, and they made the most of them.
It's a massive ski area. Plenty of variety. Suitable for all levels.
The lift system in the main is modern, with very few older chairs or buttons.
There's no shortage of restaurants on the hills, and reasonably priced.
(It's not France).
Once you've got the 1st gondaler or chair of the day, you're away .
After a good days skiing, the bars are very conveniently placed at the bottom of the last runs.
There's something for everyone.
Whether you want to chill, or you're up for a wild couple of hours, there's something for everyone.
Also, there's no shortage of authentic Italian restaurants.
They get busy, so I'd recommend booking if your a group.
Overall a great ski area. Picturesque villages, friendly and accommodating folk.
My favourite ski area, and I wouldn't hesitate to return
there are quite a lot of small towns so you can choose where to stay, not loads of nightlife if thats what youre looking for but some really lovely places & nice bars on the mountain. theres not a big party apres scene, but plenty of places for a spritz in the sun (& not just after -ski!)
