Dolomiti Superski Alta Badia is by far my favorite European resort. From high tech chairlifts to variety of ski runs to beautiful peaks and scenery of Dolomiti mountains to endless dining choices you wont be disappointed. We stayed in Alta Badia and skied/snowboarded around Sella Ronda for a week. This area is covered by IKON pass, so we didnt have to buy tickets. Dining is very inexpensive compared to USA resort. So are the accommodations. Snow conditions were better at higher elevations. We went end of February.

We have stayed in La Villa several times and have loved every time. The atmosphere, ski area and general feel of the area all make it so much more than just a regular ski area. We have now started going with our young son and the ski school and crèche are superb.

There are too many flat or up-hill pistes. On-piste signage is very confusing. Sella Ronda is very busy.

Some of the most consistent snow in Europe and beautiful scenery to accompany it. Can get busy at peak times but large area disperses crowds quick

I went for the first time in the 2022/2023 season. Although I went quite early on, almost all the runs were open as well as some terrain parks and there was regular snowfall every couple of days. There are restaurants dotted all over the resort and it is very beginner-friendly with mostly blue and red runs. It is also linked to the Sellaronda, which takes you around 2-3 mountains through different resorts over the course of about half a day. For the more advanced skiers, there are several black runs available, including the World Cup Gran Risa piste and a tricky glacier nearby. The lifts and slopes were also very well operated and, even on busy days like Christmas, the queue time was relatively short. The local instructors are also fantastic, many having been former racers with plenty of experience. Overall, a gem of a resort.
