beautiful resort, well-connected so you really can explore the whole mountain (amazing glacier run too) there are quite a lot of small towns so you can choose where to stay, not loads of nightlife if thats what youre looking for but some really lovely places & nice bars on the mountain. theres not a big party apres scene, but plenty of places for a spritz in the sun (& not just after -ski!)

Honestly one of the best resorts around Europe on a good budget. Selaronda provides a good fun for someone that wants to be on the run all the time. Not that many options for a rowdy Apres ski, yet a lot of hutes around with good music and fairly cheap drinks (compared to London). Good food on the slopes at cafes too!!

Headed to the Corvara this year to learn how to ski and it was brilliant. I took some lessons from the ski school & by day 3 I had improved a lot. The runs are relatively easy and barely any queuing for lifts etc. 100% would recommend!

Have skied the Alta Badia area many times and am always impressed by how well groomed and well organised everything is.

Lots of brilliant runs in this classy resort. Excellent lift service but the resort is pricey but well worth it.

Best long slopes, and modern ski lifts, stunning surrounding views. Mostly Italian people around which means peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere, with elite people access to the slopes due to the costly area. Festive apre ski in the old town in Canazei, with direct access from the slopes end.

We stayed in Colfosco and skied all around the area including the sella ronda. It was the first time I have skied in Italy and I was very impressed. Great snow over a wide variety of piste, including some lovely tree lined runs. Also lovely to be able to ski between so many interconnected resorts. Lots of food and drink options on the slopes all great value and good character. We stayed half board as I think many do, so perhaps not lots of restaurants in Colfosco itself for evening meals. We used a local guide who was fantastic. Overall highly recommended

On the Sella Ronda, a fantastic ski circuit, Alta Badia offers spectacular scenery you expect from being in the Dolomites, with snow sure and interesting terrain. Apparently the regions snow-making facilities are world class, which means that even early in the season/over Christmas, the snow conditions were brilliant. With easy access to the Sella Ronda, the routes and ski options are endless. Lots of fabulous mountain restaurants with a great atmosphere.

Great food, unbelievable views, friendly Italian locals. Cheap for a ski resort in terms of food and drink, relatively unbusy, incredible quality runs and snow

Alta Badia is part of Dolomiti Super Ski which is a wonderful group of ski resorts! These resorts are connected by the Sella Ronda which allows you to ski a 22mile circle through the various resorts which include Val Gardena, Arraba etc. skiing the Sella Ronda is a wonderful experience. There are numerous places to eat throughout it. The Sella Ronda, can be done in either direction. It can be completed by a competent intermediate and enjoyed by advanced skiers who may choose more difficult descents. The two main routes are well marked but a guide can be helpful. We loved our trip to this area and I highly recommend it. By the way the food is excellent!!
