My 2nd time in Selva. We arrived for the last week of January.
They'd been a shortage of fresh snowfall on the run up, so we were unsure of what to expect.
Evenso the slopes were managed and pisted superbly.
The resort has plenty of snow canons, and they made the most of them.
It's a massive ski area. Plenty of variety. Suitable for all levels.
The lift system in the main is modern, with very few older chairs or buttons.
There's no shortage of restaurants on the hills, and reasonably priced.
(It's not France).
Once you've got the 1st gondaler or chair of the day, you're away .
After a good days skiing, the bars are very conveniently placed at the bottom of the last runs.
There's something for everyone.
Whether you want to chill, or you're up for a wild couple of hours, there's something for everyone.
Also, there's no shortage of authentic Italian restaurants.
They get busy, so I'd recommend booking if your a group.
Overall a great ski area. Picturesque villages, friendly and accommodating folk.
My favourite ski area, and I wouldn't hesitate to return

Snow, sun, spritz - Alta Badia has it all. Dramatic setting of the dolomites and easy access to the sella ronda make for enjoyable skiing. There are options for all ability levels. As intermediate myself, I found there was a nice balance of red runs where I could push myself and cruisy blues where I could work on refining technique. Food options are lovely and the people working in the resort were all friendly.

We visit Alta Badia regularly, it's a well connected resort across the Dolomiti Superski area. Something for everyone. Efficient lift operations and well maintained slopes.Typically we eat lunch out and there are plenty of options on the slopes.A great place to explore or start a ski adventure.

Best ski resort ever! Dolomiti superski including alta Badia is just great. Been coming here every year since 10years. Slopes are prepped like. I where else, quit when you avoid school holidays, really good conditions and a lot of sunshine. Restaurants are affordable and food is great. The ski resort is one of the biggest in Europe when you get the dolomiti super ski pass, everything is linked never have to ski the same slopes again. Huge recommendation for the sellaronda which is a 42km round tour around the dolomites Sellajoch, sassolungo, langkofel and many more with great panorama views Best ski resort Ive been to in Europe 11/10 recommendation!

We just skied Alta Badia and surrounding resorts for our Christmas vacation. Skiing the Sella Ronda was the highlight of our trip! The weather and snow were amazing! The people we met and the food were spectacular!

Slopes are great early in the morning, so so later in the day.No big queues at lifts, affordable meals around the slopes, printed ski map is hard to read when you are first time visitor, app works well and tracks ur performance and digital map is good.Location is stunning, food is great, all is well maintained and most of the lifts are new-ish.Plenty of snow canons around so I would say snow sure, really like it here! Highly recommended.

Alta badia has a great selection of runs of all grades and it's excellent for families with a huge plateau of mostly blue runs behind corvara. The vibe is relaxed and you can normally avoid the crowds if you want to.

beautiful resort, well-connected so you really can explore the whole mountain (amazing glacier run too)
there are quite a lot of small towns so you can choose where to stay, not loads of nightlife if thats what youre looking for but some really lovely places & nice bars on the mountain. theres not a big party apres scene, but plenty of places for a spritz in the sun (& not just after -ski!)

Honestly one of the best resorts around Europe on a good budget. Selaronda provides a good fun for someone that wants to be on the run all the time. Not that many options for a rowdy Apres ski, yet a lot of hutes around with good music and fairly cheap drinks (compared to London). Good food on the slopes at cafes too!!

Headed to the Corvara this year to learn how to ski and it was brilliant. I took some lessons from the ski school & by day 3 I had improved a lot. The runs are relatively easy and barely any queuing for lifts etc. 100% would recommend!

Best long slopes, and modern ski lifts, stunning surrounding views. Mostly Italian people around which means peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere, with elite people access to the slopes due to the costly area. Festive apre ski in the old town in Canazei, with direct access from the slopes end.

We stayed in Colfosco and skied all around the area including the sella ronda.
It was the first time I have skied in Italy and I was very impressed. Great snow over a wide variety of piste, including some lovely tree lined runs. Also lovely to be able to ski between so many interconnected resorts.
Lots of food and drink options on the slopes all great value and good character. We stayed half board as I think many do, so perhaps not lots of restaurants in Colfosco itself for evening meals.
We used a local guide who was fantastic.
Overall highly recommended

On the Sella Ronda, a fantastic ski circuit, Alta Badia offers spectacular scenery you expect from being in the Dolomites, with snow sure and interesting terrain. Apparently the regions snow-making facilities are world class, which means that even early in the season/over Christmas, the snow conditions were brilliant.
With easy access to the Sella Ronda, the routes and ski options are endless. Lots of fabulous mountain restaurants with a great atmosphere.
