Val Thorens is a great resort for beginners to advanced skiers, there are loads of blue and red slopes to choose from meaning the day is never the same. There are so many lifts and there are rarely lift queues longer than 2-3 minutes maximising ski time.
The après is great fun although can be a little expensive.

This resort is just awesome. Anyone who hasn’t been to the 3 valleys has to give it a go, especially those looking to ski distance. Snow was incredible, which is luck but at these altitudes it makes sense!

Well laid out reasoner with almost unrivalled access to varied terrain. You will struggle to find a higher village anywhere so quality snow is almost guaranteed. A great place to ski!

Fantastic resort, fast lifts vast area honestly one of the best in Europe period.
Drinks can be pricey but the scenery makes up for everything

Massive resort, huge choice or runs all of which are excellent. Would always recommend getting the 3 valleys pass to explore the best that France has to offer.

Really nice station in the middle of the 3 valleys offering a vaste riding domain, that caters all the way from children to experts. We came at the end of January and the snow was crack

Great resort for experiences, has a good selection of runs and ideal for beginners and more advanced. Not the most varied pistes but still great fun and the apres options are amazing. Food and accommodation options are also varied and great for whatever your budget. Drinks are expensive though but Thats to be expected! You usually get a large cocktail when you’re paying a lot so it’s worth it.

Snow sure for the whole season, even late in the year had beautiful sunny days with amazing skiing in the morning, little heavy in the afternoon in town but as soon as you head up hill from the town it’s amazing. Get to the top of the world in no time.

Seamless trip, loved the snow, well maintained and super condition. Great accessibility to neighbouring resorts, especially with an early start. Best place for a while.

Great resort given the wide range of slopes. Amazing for apres in the town but not such good apres options on the slopes as there aren’t any options which allow for taking a lift down.

Great week of skiing mainly at Val Thorens, but upgraded ski pass across 3 valleys for a day, which is worth it. Plenty of good blue slopes to build confidence and explore the resort for those less confident. A good mix of skiing and Apres with easy access to many bars. Would certainly visit again!
