Consistently one of the best value for money mm resorts it there. If you get a the valley pass you can access meribel for beautiful tree rube and fresh powder and courchevel which had some of my favourite rolling blue which aVTcre perfect for carving.

Fantastic hotel options with the town, almost all fully or near ski-in ski-out. More terrain than you can ski in a week with amazing off piste options too. Always snow sure. Highly recommend Hotel Tango.

Overall a great place to visit - particularly if you dont want to hire a car and want to ski more cheaply. I reccomend

I went with family for a 50th and had a great time. It was my first time skiing so it was very fresh and scary when I first arrived. But overall experience was amazing and I am thinking about booking again next year.

Lovely resort been here 3 times. Normally come to val thorens around Easter due to the elevation of the resort and being worried about snow. If you go skiing at the end of the season, VT is the place for you, great snow even at the end of the season.
Top tip: make sure you get a three valleys lift pass to enable you to explore the other two valleys as there is great skiing there

Val Thorens has lots of ski runs to try out. I would definitely recommend getting the 3 valleys lift pass so you can explore the biggest ski area in Europe. Val Thorens has great accommodation options for ski in and ski out and varied apres ski places and events.

Great lift access to 3 valleys and 100s of KM of runs . You never need to ski the same run twice in a day !

Love the resort, great altitude and snow. Three valleys ski pass upgrade is well worth it and will keep you exploring all week. Great variety in terms of the terrain, centre can get busy but plenty of places to escape the crowds. Don't forget about the 4th valley Orelle for a long blue. Believe Peclet lift stays open late one evening a week for the sunset ski, and also accesses a skiable ice cave with a little off piste.

The highest ski resort in Europe and also the largest ski piste terrain when taking into account the 3 valleys. Multiple piste catering to all levels. Served by fast and efficient chairlift and gondola. Because of this, it is a popular destination and gets fairly crowded especially during holiday season. It is also a fairly long 3 hour airport transfer. There is also no tree line skiing unless you go to lower elevation at courchevel.
