Méribel Review Summary
Méribel attracts predominantly intermediate to advanced skiers and snowboarders, many travelling in mixed-ability groups or families. The resort is consistently praised for its central location in the Three Valleys, offering efficient access to Courchevel and Val Thorens via well-maintained lift infrastructure. Reviewers repeatedly mention the extensive ski area, good piste grooming, and lively après-ski scene, particularly at Rond Point and La Folie Douce. However, the high cost of accommodation, food, and drinks is a frequent complaint, with many noting that Méribel is significantly more expensive than resorts in Austria or Italy. Lift queues can be an issue during peak periods, particularly on lower lifts, though most report they move relatively quickly. A few snowboarders mention flat connecting runs as problematic.

Also want to shout out the medical team as we had a serious incident and if it hadn't been for the medical Centre, we would've lost someone. They literally saved his life.
Chalet staff and bar staff are happy and helpful, which I think comes naturally in such a nice resort.
I’d give it a five out of five for places to visit and recommend a holiday there to anyone…kids, beginners, advanced, snowboarders, skiers, apres ski fun lovers and everyone else!
Lots of great restaurants and fun bars for Aprés.
Runs are good and varied and plenty of family friendly options.
It’s an amazing resort with links to Courcheval and VT so there’s miles and miles of slopes, it’s friendly for beginners but has sections which are amazing for advanced levels.
It has the best park out of the 3 resorts located there aswell!
Food is amazing and lifts are efficient, only issue is it’s quite low down, so if it’s a warm day it does get slushy.
Located in the three valleys and as a result there are so many runs you can do; including a lot of different coloured runs, lots of blue and red runs. Great restaurants to eat out, all family friendly.
Lots of choice for runs
Great restaurants and apres ski
Not the cheapest but great atmosphere
