Avoriaz also has a large communal swimming pool. Great for kids. Eating out cost on par with UK prices. Our apartment had kitchen facilities, so able to mix up eating in/out.
Supermarket facilities also very good, plenty of produce. Would say prices cheaper than the UK.
No car are allowed in the resort, only horse / sleigh or snow mobile.
My kids, 9 & 7 years old learnt to ski there, ski school was brilliant, friendly, calm & thoughtful.
Decent enough snow and surprisingly quiet
