What Skiers Say About Levi
Levi attracts a mix of beginners, intermediates, and families, with reviewers consistently noting the resort's suitability for learners and less crowded slopes compared to Alpine destinations. The snow quality and grooming receive widespread praise, along with minimal lift queues and a range of off-slope activities including husky rides and Northern Lights viewing. Advanced skiers and snowboarders mention limited challenging terrain, with only a couple of black runs available. The cost of food, drink, and activities is frequently cited as high, typical of Scandinavia. Several reviewers note the reliance on drag lifts and mention that extreme cold can be a factor, particularly early season.

Hotel and Spa and hotel food was excellent
The instructor was great and very patient and I could ski on my own after an hour.
Loved the place
Watch what time of year you go, as earlier in the season not all slopes are open
We had a great day throughly enjoying the beginners slopes, so much so, we are now planning a skiing trip in the coming months.
We arrived the first week of the season. We dropped off partners at ski school and the advanced skiers tried to ski across multiple routes. However, many of the lifts were not operational and some of the routes weren't open. We only skied for three days and for two of those days the chair lift at South Point didn't work.
Our beginner skiers enjoyed their ski lessons, but doing more than 1.5 hours was very expensive.
Finland is truly beautiful, making it a gorgeous place to ski. There's not much sunlight, but skiing and sunrise and sunset on a clear day is very special.
Anyone considering Levi will have to take the cost of food and drink, ski passes, ski hire and also transport into consideration. We hired a car and I'm glad we did. There was a shuttle bus to take you to different slopes, but it seemed very busy and cramped! All the slopes are a short car ride from each other, with free parking and plenty of available spaces.
Levi as a town is so cute and Christmassy, really just the epitome of a festive ski town.
In summary; this is the perfect ski resort for families or beginners who love a Christmas vibe....and have a lot of Euros to spend!
There are a range of different level slopes. The slopes tend to be a fair bit quieter than the Alps, although not nearly as high.
With an Olympic level black run you can challenge yourself in the morning whilst still enjoying the other activities Levi has on offer in the afternoons and evenings.
For people who are new to skiing - Levi is a great choice of location as it is a lot quieter than the alps. The lessons are fantastic and with the well lit slopes you can ski into the late hours of the evening.
Don't miss the Northern lights and Husky sledging whilst there.
Would thoroughly recommend.
