Levi is an amazing ski resort for a mixed group. Particularly when skiing as a family.
There are a range of different level slopes. The slopes tend to be a fair bit quieter than the Alps, although not nearly as high.

With an Olympic level black run you can challenge yourself in the morning whilst still enjoying the other activities Levi has on offer in the afternoons and evenings.
For people who are new to skiing - Levi is a great choice of location as it is a lot quieter than the alps. The lessons are fantastic and with the well lit slopes you can ski into the late hours of the evening.
Don't miss the Northern lights and Husky sledging whilst there.

Would thoroughly recommend.

Skiing: - Incredible ski area, long runs and no ice. Lifts are quiet - most I've ever waited is 2 minutes. Snow Park good for all levels. Haven't been off piste however I've heard it's good and since it's more of a rolling hill it's not too dangerous either. Other Activities: -Wide range of activities, cross country skiing, sledding, skidoos, and so much more. Can be expensive but I've never felt disappointed with any activity. Cost:-Quite expensive however it's brilliant, I've been a few times now and I will be going again.

Skiing lovely, no big queues. Heated chair lift. So many other things to do. Reindeer sleigh rides on frozen lake. Husky rides. Frozen hotel with beautiful sculptures.

Having been to quite a few ski resorts in Tirol, last year I decided to do Levi in Finland. It was an amazing experience. Friendly people, fantastic scenery, and brilliant ski days. The whole resort is very well maintained, but the runs are really short compared to the ones in Tirol. A not very positive experience was that most of the lifts were the tow ones. Going up for about 20 minutes in that position made me have terrible pains in my knees, which resulted in shorter ski days and a one-day shorter ski holiday.So, I believe I still prefer the resorts in Tirol and everything the region has to offer.

Small resort but it makes up for it with the quiet slopes. The parks are good with an easy lift straight back to the top for consistent ride. Nice, easy and well price burger bar at the south point. Only two black slopes, with one being more of a step ended red. Multiple off-piste areas with good snow due to the consistency of snowfall.

Great resort for families who want laid back skiing. No queues for lifts, plenty of nice blue/red runs, good ski school for group or private lessons. Better in the Spring when all runs are open and it's a little warmer. Most accomodation is an easy walk to lifts and you can easily store kit at bottom of the slopes. But lovely to combine a little skiing with other Winter activities like reindeer sleigh rides, dog sledding, snowshoeing, visits to Father Christmas etc if you want to visit during the Winter. Some of Levi fell is floodlight for skiing at this time. Can be very cold but beautiful experience. If you want a new run every time you set foot on the snow or many challenging black pistes, it's not for you, but perfect for beginners-intermediates and families.

I learnt to ski in Levi and went back for a second week the following year. It's an awesome place to learn in spite of the extreme cold. It's quiet so queuing for a lift is unheard of. The slopes are generally not the longest but the snow is great - really dry and no ice (unless it gets blasted by the wind). There are little huts dotted about the slopes with fires in to get warmed up and cook your bratwursts which are replenished with logs daily. The jumps for the boarders look extreme but there might not be enough black runs for the advanced skiers to stay interested too long. For beginners and intermediates I would highly recommend this resort but wrap up warm!

Levi is a fantastic place to snowboard and ski! There are some nice restaurants to dine at and the slopes are great. It gets very cold during December so make sure you wear thermals and layer up

Incredible snow and long ski days, from 9am to 7pm. Reasonably priced lift passes, rental and lessons too.

A must while in Finland. Not too crowded as other resorts. Great powder! Finnish may be the nicest Ive ever met, après was amazing and can say the same for nightlife.

Fantastic little town and ski area. The area is small but the snow is unbelievable!!! The views are out of this world. Also get to dog sled through the enchanted forest, skidoo across a frozen lake, and much much more. Not to mention the northern lights!! The ski are is mainly operated with drag lifts, but the staff are all really friendly and helpful to get you on and off, and your not on them for long so easily manageable. We have been twice and no doubt will go back again.

Fab ski resort specially for my family lovely runs and something for every ability. Blue runs beautiful smooth run and feels christmassy and lots activities to enjoy with kids.

Love Levi, been there 10 years in a row. Super quiet with great off piste runs and no ski police. Each year there are new developments to the slopes that make the place better.

Good small hill. Lots of rookies, so I had to ski defensively. I found myself getting bored quite easily. Only two or three runs I could open up and cruise. Most of the time I had to slow down for beginners. But easy to get too, and great restaurants.

Great resort with guaranteed snow and plenty for all levels.
I'm an advanced to expert rider and the person who came with me was a complete novice, Whilst they spent the morning in ski school I was out hitting the back country and black runs. Then in the afternoon we would meet up at one on the many amazing restaurants of the slops for lunch and a few drinks then hit the slopes together in the afternoon.
I highly recommend Levi ski resort

Levi offers a little bit of everything but without the massive number of people as with European resorts. There are a couple of black runs, one being on the world cup circuit, some fun reds and plenty of relaxing blues. The mountain is not huge so transition time to the top is great giving you more runs. There is some off piste areas out the back of the mountain with great powder and trees fully laden with snow to ski through which is pretty magical as well. There are a number of restaurants and bars with a varied selection of food on offer and the prices are pretty reasonable if you go for local stuff but the price goes up if you want something like Brewdog.
Overall a great friendly resort with good skiing and entertainment.

Absolutely loved my time in Levi, everyones really respectful on the slopes. The snow quality was BEAUTIFUL, the piest runs were very nicely groomed, and the snow features were very nice and friendly to ride for people of all levels whether theyre learning freestyle or a pro. The whole experience on the slopes in Levi are a joy to ride and a whole experience in themselves.
