Amazing place to ski, with lots of accessible runs and plenty of places to eat / drink in the mountains. The kaiserhof hotel is also fantastic, with a great location.

Excellent variety of ski slopes. Some quite challenging blue runs so maybe not the best for real beginners. Excellent apres ski bar just off the cable car at the bottom. Beautiful resort with plenty of restaurants to grab a drink and a bite to eat on the mountain.

Exceptional ski lift options and ski runs, amazing dining in the village. Outstanding strudel and cappuccino on the slopes, I would go back there in a second!

This was a truly magical ski resort for skiers and boarders at all levels. The magical, tree-lined slopes offered picture-perfect views and powdery slopes. The apres scene was always fun and vibrant, with incredible music and a fantastic ambiance. Accommodation is beautiful in this resort, and the people who work in this resort are always so friendly and accommodating! The restaurants and shops are always buzzing, with incredible food and clothes to choose from !

I loved the family friendly skiing, many family groups, and lovely relaxed atmosphere. The town is pretty to walk through and although most hotels are in the village and not on the slopes, the buses through town to lifts was very efficient and easy to hope on/off. Enjoyed going to see an ice hockey game which was a bonus. The Austrians working there were very friendly and welcoming and spoke excellent English. The food was also great.

Was here last winter, around mid February time. Weather wasn't as snowy as we would have wanted, but the quality of groomed runs, especially further up the mountain, was exceptional. There's a vast area for skiing, as well as close proximity to the skiwelt area. Accommodation and eating out was good, however as with the rest of the resort it was quite expensive, and the value for money was not as good as other resorts such as Ellmau, which is actually visible from the top of the main lifts. In conclusion, a good resort with plenty of history and good variety of runs, however maybe not as good value for money as elsewhere.

Home of the Hahnenkamm, that adds an extra bit of magic for me, being able to ski sections of the slope raced on, incredible. Since having started skiing again after almost a 20 year break, I've done Kitzbuhel twice, Cervina and Zell am See. From the reviews I've read and from what I've seen, Austria is very hard to beat, I think you'd struggle to have a good holiday in Austria, only the weather could let you down. I can't wait to get back to Kitzbuhel.

Been visiting Kitz for 40+ years and travelled to many countries for skiing but this is still the best. The skiing, atmosphere and apres ski plus fab food surpasses anywhere else I've visited. Not cheap but believe me, it's worth it!

Was here early season for a day. Long great groomers, snow was lean at the bottom but still not icy. Fantastic! So much to choose from and the lift lines were quick. Food was great! I would love to come back and spend more time. Mid week, early season so not busy. Bring your fancy clothes and wallet or come with the locals to know where to go

Brilliant for a first-time skier! The town itself had a really good atmosphere and the ski facilities were excellent.
