The grandvalira area is a bit of a hidden gem. You get altitude and therefore good snow in pas de la casa and the more scenic runs over towards soldeu and el tarter. Unlike some of the better know interconnected ski areas in Europe you can comfortably explore the whole area in a day due to decent lifts and relatively uncrowded slopes.

For something a bit different to the usual Alps mega resorts but without feeling like you are compromising (ie Bulgaria) the Grandvalira is a brilliant choice.

Could not recommend this place any more and i definitely will be going back! The runs are amazing and lots of opportunities to ski to other resorts.

Night life was some of the best I’ve experienced and with very affordable drinks!

Nice resort centre with plenty of bars and options for eating out. Short walk from most accommodation to lifts. Up to date reasonably fast chair lifts and no big queues even though it was half term.

Meh? It's icey as hell with no snow. Powder is rare but more available in late February onwards. Connection to different resorts is fantastic tho. Great for learners and families.

Really enjoyed my trip in Pas De La Casa this year. It was my second time visiting. - amazing snow, better than the alps the week I went.

Access to other areas of the resort can be hard to get to if a beginner, however there are plenty of slopes for all abilities.

Town itself has lots of shopping and restaurants.

Had an amazing time with my partner and friends. The slopes were in great condition and were layed out well.

The whole resort is well connected by the lifts and is easy to access.

The Pas De La Casa town has a great vibe, good range of food options and friendly people.

The trip was not overpriced, and we all had a fantastic time, would highly recommend this resort.

Love this resort, having skied in a vast variety of ski resorts on holidays of varying costs Pas is cost effective, with great slopes. We were lucky and had perfect conditions in mid March.

Great resort , lots of areas to ski if it's not too windy and the lifts are open to get out into mountain areas, if high lifts are closed then your stuck lowdown in resort. Had 2 bad weather days and 4 blue birds, can't complain about that.
It's very cheap to eat and drink, lots of clothing shops at great prices . Would definitely recommend.

We had excellent snow quality. There’s something for everyone on the slopes. My partner had a private ski lesson which was excellent.

Incredibly lucky with the snowfall. Large amount of runs available at different difficulty levels. Couple of decent parks, some marked off-piste/forest style runs. Apres and restaurant choice quite low on the mountain ranges, town also quite limited.

Pas De La Casa was a good resort for a trip with mates good bars and restaurants, good value for money. Slopes were nice and clear, snowed the majority of the time we were there, but quality of snow was good. A lot of mellow blues, but needs a few more reds and blacks. Say the blacks were probably reds in the Alps.

Not that cheap as specified. It said it was a tax free country but prices were as expensive as any other European ski area.. ski passes were just as expensive but runs were OK.

We came late January this year and had unreal conditions. Lots of snow early well made some great powder runs off piste. Pistes were well groomed too.

If you’re staying in pas de la casa though be aware high winds or bad visibility will stop the lifts to the top leaving just the few green runs near town, unless you bus to the next lifts over. Bit of a pain.

Plenty of bars and restaurants around the mountain, would recommend a day riding out to the other side of the hill, down the soldeu runs, restaurants at the bottom are insane value for money. €4 euro beers, cheap food. Just be aware the ski runs can get flat for boarders.

Apres is alright, the bar at the top of font Negre lift gets busy from 3 and isn’t very big, would recommend hitting that then moving down to cbbc at like 4:30 before everyone starts heading the same way, get a table and beers in!

Pas de la casa is incredible, there is so much options and variety for up to beginner to expert skiers. The resort has endless amount of runs from green to black, I have been going there since maybe 4, when I first started skiing and I still don’t think I’ve skied every run, the area is huge. Personally, I love the run Port, and to go over the other side of the mountain in Grandvarlia into Grau Roig. Everything is amazing there, the lessons are brilliant and you learn a lot from them, there is lots of options for aprés ski and eating out, some accommodation is located on the side of the mountain so you can ski down from your hotel to the lifts, and the lifts are rarely busy, unless you go in half terms, where you get the school kids there,

I believe there is not really any downsides to this resort (however I might be bias because I love it so much)
I think if anyone has the chance to go they should go here
