What Skiers Say About Tremblant

Tremblant attracts skiers and snowboarders across all abilities, from beginners to experts, with many visiting as families or groups. Users consistently mention well-groomed runs, efficient lift operations during weekdays, beautiful tree skiing, and the European-style pedestrian village as major positives. Crowding is a recurring complaint, particularly on weekends and holidays, with long lift queues and busy slopes reported frequently. Conditions are described as variable, with ice developing by midday and temperatures often bitterly cold. Pricing for accommodation, food, and lift tickets is widely criticised as expensive, though many users still return regularly and consider it the best option in eastern Canada.

The Tremblant experience is best on the North Side - with lots of challenging terrain in tree runs. We typically warm up on the long Blue "Toboggan" and then spend the majority of the day moving across the North side trees and groomers. The Edge quad lift is slow, but the wait is worth it for a good range of challenging tree skiing. Lift ticket prices have escalated significantly in the last 7 years - disappointing to the extent that I've had to limit my regular visits. Well appointed village with good services all around.

Great family ski hill, one of the lifts on the north side is in a bit of a climb or walk to the top of the next run which I am not fond of. The snow last week was amazing powder perfect.

Visited Tremblant during the week to escape larger crowds, and our experience was excellent! On the first ride to the summit, we were greated with an inversion - my first time seeing one in Eastern Canada so far. This resort is our go-to spot being one of the largest hills in the area. We find the staff friendly, line-ups are managed efficiently and there's great dining/ shopping options for après-ski activities.

I enjoyed my first time to Mount Tremblant in February 2024. Coming from Western Canada, my expectations were low, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the length and variety of runs. We were there on a Saturday, but never waited long for the gondola or chair lift. Will be returning soon!

Always love a trip to Tremblant. First stop is always The Edge for some tree laps. Has gotten alot more expensive in recent years unfortunately.

A fun mountain, some fun tree runs and lots of groomed terrain. East coast chill and wind! Come on a weekday to skip the crowds, park in the north lot, tailgate lunch, and lap the Edge glades all day for a great day!

Tremblant is great and one of the best in Eastern NA!

Mountain isn't huge and worse natural snow than something like Jay's, but the snowmaking operation is nothing to scoff at.

Weekends are super busy but the staff know it and hand out hot chocolate on cold days to lift lines sometimes :D

Great experience and worth to visit if you have ikon pass

Awesome place to ski if you’re an intermediate skier looking to go on a group trip. There’s enough runs for friends of all skill levels which makes it a great overall hill to visit in large groups. The runs are beautiful and have great dining options throughout the hill. I’ve stayed in airbnbs outside the village, but if you have the chance definitely stay in the village it’s a great time.

Honestly a really fun hill in the east! Be prepared for busy runs, ice, and wind. If you get lucky, you’ll have a blue bird day of your dreams. Lots of variety of runs, but if you’re looking for powder or fun off-piste runs Tremblant won’t give you that.

Very good hill well maintained. Week days are quieter than the weekends and holidays here. The north parking lots is better than the south end parking lot by far but you have to go to the south end if you want to visit the resort after skiing

Super cold most of the season and rarely benefits from Nor-Easter storms. Great place to be when it storms but almost always gets rained on right away after Nor-Eastern storm fronts common in this area. There are many smaller more affordable places in the area to consider but it is the highest peak in the Laurentians. Super developed village with lots of amenities and attractions but quite expensive.

I have been to Mount Trolan a number of times for the fall convention with the CSIA. The skiing is always good. I’ll be at cold given its location. The atmosphere and nightlife is always one to be desired, and the accommodations are simple and easy to book.
