What Skiers Say About Tremblant

Tremblant attracts skiers and snowboarders across all abilities, from beginners to experts, with many visiting as families or groups. Users consistently mention well-groomed runs, efficient lift operations during weekdays, beautiful tree skiing, and the European-style pedestrian village as major positives. Crowding is a recurring complaint, particularly on weekends and holidays, with long lift queues and busy slopes reported frequently. Conditions are described as variable, with ice developing by midday and temperatures often bitterly cold. Pricing for accommodation, food, and lift tickets is widely criticised as expensive, though many users still return regularly and consider it the best option in eastern Canada.

I’ve been visiting Tremblant annually for about 20 years. It rarely disappoints. Yes, it can be bitterly cold and windy at the top but like the best resorts, when the sun comes out, it’s golden time!

The riding was amazing for Eastern Canada. There was so much powder as we arrived during a snow storm. There was a ton of terrain compared to any resort at this part of the country. The views from the top were gorgeous and the lifts were efficient. The resort parking was so busy we had to park far away however there was a shuttle to pick us up and get us to the village. Finding a spot to stay was easy however prepare to spend. It’s not cheap but worth it if you’ve never experienced it before. We will be going back since the terrain was so good especially for this part of Canada!

It's a decent mountain with a great village. Slopes can get icy.
Lifts and gondola lines aren't too bad other than Saturday. Some lifts break down or are not in operation often making parts of the mountain not accessible.

It was fun and accessible with affordable ski in & out lodging, may be one of the best on the east coast of Canada imo.

Lots of great terrain, great options for beginners. Lift lines weren't that bad. It could get very very cold but that's hard to plan around. Village is the highlight and has tons of places to eat and great après ski options.

We've been to Tremblant 4 times. January is imo the best time to visit as it has the best conditions then.

During the week it's quiet and enjoyable . Accommodations and dining are some of the best.

We come back ever year.

Tremblant is the best resort on the east coast. It has a good mix of shorter and longer runs, difficult and easy runs, as well as 2 snow parks and access to some off-piste/tree terrain. We did find the runs felt a little easy, so mostly stuck to blacks, which reminded me more of European reds. The snow parks are decent too and have jumps to suit all levels. The village is small but quaint and picturesque. There are a couple of decent spots for apres, although it’s definitely not like anything you’d find in Europe or bigger resorts like Whistler.

Bought a seasons pass with my boyfriend this year, so so worth going up on weekdays if you can get a day off of school/work. Theres maximum 5 mins of waiting time at lifts. Also went with friends after New Year's on Jan 2 & 3, was also quite nice and not as busy as we expected for a holiday.

Very fun environment from the village to the slopes, hills were well groomed and the park was well set up. The ski in/out accommodations were phenomenal and got us on and off the hill direct from our room effortlessly

Biggest resort in the east cost, pretty good, a bit expensive comparing to Europe. Different slopes, might be cool on powder days.

We love going, our kids adore it, but the cost is too much. We live only a 2 hour drive from Tremblant, and we're better off financially to use travel points to fly to Alberta, rent a car and ski Lake Louise instead. Which we have done a few years ago and it's MUCH better skiing.

Beautiful resort with extras such as local frozen lake for skating, one hotel had a viewing lounge to see reindeer come and feed. Wonderful, friendly staff, the only let down was that some of the snow machines spat out ice cubes which made that section of the run far more sketchy, if that was rectified there wouldn't be much to grumble about at all.

Really great hill for a beginner. The green runs were nice and long giving lots of time and space to get used to riding. It was cool that there were lifts for the upper and lower part of the hill so you could stay higher and keep ride to the midpoint. Got my bearings a bit more because it was a bit steeper at the top but not too steep for a newbie.
One evening, on our last run down, we saw some deer on the hill eating some hay! Beautiful sunsets up there. Would love to go back.

Went for a week. Was very icy in February barely any powder. Other than that runs were good even though the ratings were exaggerated. Double black here is more like an easy red in the alps. Good options were good but pricy.

Busy on weekends. Good blue runs. Village is great and best in the spring when it warms up in March and April.

Skiing at Mont Tremblant was an awesome experience. The mountain has a great mix of runs, from smooth groomers to more challenging trails, so it never felt repetitive. The views from the top were amazing, especially on a clear day, and the snow conditions were better than I expected. The village at the base adds a lot to the trip. It’s fun, lively, and perfect for relaxing after skiing. Between the efficient lifts, well-maintained trails, and great après-ski spots, Tremblant felt like a complete ski destination. I’d definitely go back.
