What Skiers Say About Tremblant

Tremblant attracts skiers and snowboarders across all abilities, from beginners to experts, with many visiting as families or groups. Users consistently mention well-groomed runs, efficient lift operations during weekdays, beautiful tree skiing, and the European-style pedestrian village as major positives. Crowding is a recurring complaint, particularly on weekends and holidays, with long lift queues and busy slopes reported frequently. Conditions are described as variable, with ice developing by midday and temperatures often bitterly cold. Pricing for accommodation, food, and lift tickets is widely criticised as expensive, though many users still return regularly and consider it the best option in eastern Canada.

This is the best ski resort in Eastern Canada and perhaps in the whole Eastern North America. Lots of uphill capacity, huge village, lots of hotels, restaurants and bars, great apres. super snow making and grooming. It even has an airport. Awesome vertical and great variety of slopes. Can get busy on weekends due to relative proximity to Montreal.

Great open to the season. Lifts were fairly smooth and open runs were good for the time of year. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere in the ville is awesome. Shuttles are convenient such that you don’t need to do much walking from the lot. Parking accommodates recreational vehicles for those looking to stay in their personal vehicles.

Beautiful European vibes, slopes are well groomed and the lines during weekends are very manageable. Favourite is the chair lift at the half slope so can take the steepest part of the mountain on repeat. Great for intermediate skiers starting on their first blacks, not too intimidating. Husband who is advanced enjoys the more advanced slopes as well.
Pedestrian village and shopping: many of the beautiful stores sell adorable products at a decent price.

Great resort during the week, a little too busy the week end. You will definitely enjoy Tremblant for all it has to offer. Hotels, restaurants and slopes are first class.

Over all pretty good ski trip as we were able to get good price for hotel , snow conditions far from great , busy lifts with line ups . Somehow still enjoyed and as we were able to drive to it there is nothing better that we can reach out from Ontario by car.

Went to Tremblant on Easter weekend, at the end of season. Mixed conditions on slopes but great snow making made most days good conditions. Lack of snow off slopes this time of year but the town had a lovely atmosphere.

Tremblant is a beautiful resort with a super cute village and a good mix of runs, especially if you’re beginner or intermediate. Unfortunately it has gotten very pricy and busy over the last 5 years, but the mountain itself is still fun. Snow conditions can be hit or miss especially in the later season. Weekends and spring break are extremely crowded and dappen the run conditions.

This is my home mountain for my Ikon Pass. I ski mid week, better for more skiing, and getting around the mountain quicker as it's less crowded. Great mountain for groomer skiing and on good snow days it's fun to hit the woods and other varied terrain. The base village is lively, lots of restaurants, bars, and shops.

Very nice layout resort less than 2 hours drive either from Ottawa or Montreal with tons of options for accommodation and dining. Very good snow most of the time and grooming as well. Good mix of easy and challenging runs. Can be very busy, especially during holidays.

I've visited Tremblant twice in the last couple of years, and have been impressed with the amazing views and relatively quiet slopes (especially mid-week). Only waited in line for a lift a couple of times on my recent visit!

Tremblant is extremely overpriced. Food is expensive. It is geared only to rich people from the United States who can take advantage of our low Canadian Dollar.

Not a ton of options for skiing off piste, but their options for treed runs are excellent and those runs are very quiet and peaceful. The beginner areas are very crowded as is to be expected on a family friendly mountain. The entire place is usually icy by noon, but still skiable. The village at the base of the mountain has a plethora of eating options. If you like to bring your lunch, the chalet at the top of the mountain has a large area for eating packed lunches, and many people leave their backpacks in there all day. There is a wonderful micro brewery, La Diable, that is down in the village that has great beer and poutine.

The village is amazing. Great vibe at Tremblant. Loved our weekend there. It wasnt too busy and most runs were open. Our hotel was great and had a fantastic pool and hot tub.

It's pretty touristy, but overall great. The back side was preferred by us due to fewer people and more interesting runs. Lifts on the back side are definitely aging, but still much preferred (only go up to go down).

Go to ski hill in eastern Canada.
Beautiful runs and good mix of levels and variety of slopes.
The village is pricy but cute and has everything you need.

Overall great skiing for this part of the world especially if you can do ski in ski out accommodation.

I've been skiing since a young age, and out of all the resorts I've visited, including Mont Saint-Sauveur, Sutton, and Bromont, Tremblant truly stands alone.

The mountain offers a variety of top-notch runs for all levels. For example, I consider myself an advanced skier where I could do all sorts of runs but for my friends whom I've introduced to the sport, the Greens also offer something great.

The beauty of this mountain is undeniably the views as I would often find myself on the Greens and Blues to truly return to the roots of my skiing passions of enjoying a good run and a beautiful panoramic scenery.

Overall, this mountain offers an amazing combination of amazing terrain for all levels of skils and natural beauty.

Tremblant is a fantastic family friendly resort. We've vacationed at Tremblant for 4 years now, and have enjoyed the full day ski school for our kids, and the amount of runs and terrain available. Not much off-piste like typical west coast resorts, but lots of glades and groomers available. The community is friendly and lift lines have never been a concern. Only downside is how quiet the village is in the evening and the lack of late night food options.
