What Skiers Say About Tremblant

Tremblant attracts skiers and snowboarders across all abilities, from beginners to experts, with many visiting as families or groups. Users consistently mention well-groomed runs, efficient lift operations during weekdays, beautiful tree skiing, and the European-style pedestrian village as major positives. Crowding is a recurring complaint, particularly on weekends and holidays, with long lift queues and busy slopes reported frequently. Conditions are described as variable, with ice developing by midday and temperatures often bitterly cold. Pricing for accommodation, food, and lift tickets is widely criticised as expensive, though many users still return regularly and consider it the best option in eastern Canada.

Stayed at the homewood suite at the base lodge and really enjoyed the ski in ski out nature of the accommodation. Tremblant had tons of runs and felt like I didnt try everything even with 30K feet in vertical. Food was good at the lodge and everyone was friendly!

Mediocre skiing with an outdated and expensive village. . Everything is over priced even by ski resort standards. While the village provides many dining options the overwhelming majority are overpriced garbage. The food on the mountain is worse than school cafeteria food at 10x the price.

The skiing is mediocre with a limited variety of runs. They dont get much natural snow and temps are often frigid. Ice is more common than powder. Lifelines are insane and the lift system is highly inefficient. They have no traffic direction so its just a mosh pit in line. They refuse to go RFID and still hand scan passes which adds to the inefficiency. Theres some decent glades but they get tracked out quickly.

Its a highly overrated resort. Far better and more affordable options on the east. Avoid this place.

Convenient resort if you are coming from Monteal or Ottawa and not terrible for a weekend or overnight trip travelling from Toronto.

Decent variety of runs, with good options for glade runs. Although most of the runs arent particularly long, but efficient and short chair lifts help that issues as most lead to a central mountain peak with most runs available from there.

Wind can result in icy conditions often and grooming is not great.

Nice options for nightlife and eating out, but lacking après scene likely due to this being a seemingly more family-focused resort.

Mont Tremblant is small and expensive mountain. It does not get much snow at all I was there for the whole season and we got about 2/3 15cm days. Apres ski there is only one decent place called the Caribou, serves great food but is not very popular due to the mountain lacking youth. Most of the season the conditions were pretty icy and tune ups were needed constantly.

The hidden gem of the East. Reliable snow for 5 months from the start of December. Good variety of steeps to gentle cruisers, which for families all filter back together at the bottom.

Pretty much ski in ski out due to the hotel run through the village and the courtesy lift from car park to the main lifts.

Can however be bitterly cold.

Tremblant offers a large mountain for the region along with a great variety. It requires knowledge of the mountain to truly enjoy different sections and types of runs given large crowds at the lift at different moments of the day.

It is not the easiest mountain to cater to a family with different desires and experience level, but it can be quite an enjoyable location for groups of similar interests and skill level skiers and snowboarders.

I would recommend accessing the station during a weekday to experience more of what the mountain has to offer.

We love coming back to Tremblant. Especially at the beginning of the season end of November/beginning of December to get our legs into the skiing shape after summer break. Runs are perfectly long enough to get your muscles burning. During high season we havent had a chance to come yet as our kids are ski racing at Blue Mountain. Then we come back to Tremblant for end of season when Blue Mountain doesnt have much snow left anymore. So many fun memories built as a family. Tremblant has a special place in our hearts. Village is beautiful too to walk around after full day of skiing.

Very busy slopes. They need more chair lifts into expand terrain. Better grooming operations would improve the conditions of the runs.
