What Skiers Say About Tremblant

Tremblant attracts skiers and snowboarders across all abilities, from beginners to experts, with many visiting as families or groups. Users consistently mention well-groomed runs, efficient lift operations during weekdays, beautiful tree skiing, and the European-style pedestrian village as major positives. Crowding is a recurring complaint, particularly on weekends and holidays, with long lift queues and busy slopes reported frequently. Conditions are described as variable, with ice developing by midday and temperatures often bitterly cold. Pricing for accommodation, food, and lift tickets is widely criticised as expensive, though many users still return regularly and consider it the best option in eastern Canada.

Tremblant has suffered from being the furthest North of the east coast resorts. This has meant that during the last 2 seasons when other resorts had no snow, Tremblant did meant that the resort has been flooded with visitors. This year 2023-24 has been an aberration. Natural snow has been light. Lots of freeze and thaw cycles. Short snowmaking window. I have not ventured into the glades because of lack of natural snow cover. Lift infrastructure is all high speed either quads or gondola with one old fixed quad. Lifts are aging and weekends can bring very long lines. Base village on south side is well developed lots of shopping and dining options.

Nice mountain, good vertical (especially compared to other mountains nearby), great little village, but is quite expensive and can get really busy.

Great glades for the East, fantastic grooming and parks.
Tons of killer apres ski options that can lead to one missing out on first tracks
Costly but worth it during the week
I'd avoid it during peak times as the slopes get crowded and lift lines long.

Tremblant is purpose built ski resort, and loses charm but still has some "disney" character .
The village area consists of a wide variety of shops and restaurants and are not overpriced as many European resorts can be.
The ski hire is very efficient and access to the slopes on the doorstep. The gondola is quick and efficient and the rest of the chairlifts work well.
Eating on the slopes is limited to two cafeteria style buildings and can get very busy.
Find the refuge on the South side for a more authentic experience.
The slopes are well looked after but not as groomed as European slopes. There are a good variety of terrain and pistes, from wide beginner runs to tree lined slopes and mogul fields.

Tremblant is by far the best ski hill I have ever experienced. The best possible conditions you could ask for with the amazing forest trails that go throughout the whole hill, also they have great groomed runs for all levels from greens up to double blacks that almost go straight down. Also they have super quick chairlifts and gondolas being very efficient to go to the top with a lodge on the peak to grab a snack if your hungry.Although the prices are quite exspensuve it is totally worth it.

Tremblant has a nice village. There is lots of lodging with in walking distance. The grocery store (market) is small and expensive. It has a nice night life. They have deals throughout the summer on passes and lodging encouraging you to book early. Even on a Saturday the lines are not ridiculously long.

Tremblant is like the most amazing little French vacation in your Canadian backyard. The mountain has something for everyone, great groomers, great Glades, several terrain parks, and a good amount of snow! Whatever your pleasure youll find it here. The apres scene is super fun, lots of different style of restaurants - great for family or a friends trip, or a special romantic getaway. Cant say enough good things! Lots of ski in ski out properties too!!

A great option for good terrain nearby to Ottawa and Montreal. Good variety and relatively good conditions make Mont Tremblant totally worth the trip.

This place truly looks like Disney magic. Really loved the setting. The carriage lifts made it very convenient from one end to the other. And the hills started to get very busy by end of day. Show school was very very busy and turned down a large portion of people

The slopes here were immaculate. The views were amazing. It was by far my favourite place to go skiing. I hadnt stayed in the resort, I only went skiing but it was still very nice. There were lots of food options, surprisingly lots of options for children as well. 10/10 you should definitely go.
