What Skiers Say About Tremblant
Tremblant attracts skiers and snowboarders across all abilities, from beginners to experts, with many visiting as families or groups. Users consistently mention well-groomed runs, efficient lift operations during weekdays, beautiful tree skiing, and the European-style pedestrian village as major positives. Crowding is a recurring complaint, particularly on weekends and holidays, with long lift queues and busy slopes reported frequently. Conditions are described as variable, with ice developing by midday and temperatures often bitterly cold. Pricing for accommodation, food, and lift tickets is widely criticised as expensive, though many users still return regularly and consider it the best option in eastern Canada.

The lifts are fast, and there are plenty of run options of you are intermediate.
The ski lodges are large, they have great food options as well.
There are so many open runs that are clear of trees as well, it makes you feel like you are on top of the world!
Prices of lift passes are a little steep, as well as equipment rental. They could also use some new restraunts at the base of the hill, current ones are a little dated though!
Devil's River and Wendigo are some of my favourite runs in the Northeast.
Caribou for après. Maison Soma up the road is a culinary gem.
Resort was very expensive, however it had the best apres ski I had ever experienced on the east coast.
I also had the opportunity to ski with an adaptive skiier, and am pleased to say that most people were very helpful. However there are still some accessibility points that should be addressed (lack of accessible washroom at the top lodge)
Everything is amazing about this ski mountain and the village.
What I Loved
The Village Vibes: The European-style pedestrian village is charming and cozy. It feels like youve stepped into a postcard, with vibrant shops, cafés, and restaurants creating a lovely atmosphere. Walking around the village was one of my favorite parts of the trip.
Variety of Runs: The mountain has something for everyonewhether youre a beginner, intermediate, or expert skier, theres a trail for you. I appreciated the mix of easier slopes to warm up on and more challenging ones when I felt ready.
Efficient Lifts (When Not Crowded): The lifts are modern, and on quieter days, I found the experience smooth and quick.
What Fell Short
Crowds and Wait Times: If youre going during peak season (as I did), prepare for long lift lines and crowded slopes. It felt like I spent more time waiting than skiing some days, which was frustrating.
Weather Challenges: Tremblant is notoriously cold, and the wind can be brutal at the summit. I came prepared with layers, but the chill was relentless, cutting some of my ski days shorter than planned.
Snow Conditions: While the snowmaking is solid, the conditions werent ideal when I visited. Some trails were icy, and others felt overused, making skiing less enjoyable.
Would I Return?
I might, but Id pick a quieter time to avoid the crowds and hope for better snow conditions. The charm of the village and variety of runs make it worth considering again, but I wouldnt go out of my way to return if Im looking for the ultimate ski experience.
