What Skiers Say About Tremblant

Tremblant attracts skiers and snowboarders across all abilities, from beginners to experts, with many visiting as families or groups. Users consistently mention well-groomed runs, efficient lift operations during weekdays, beautiful tree skiing, and the European-style pedestrian village as major positives. Crowding is a recurring complaint, particularly on weekends and holidays, with long lift queues and busy slopes reported frequently. Conditions are described as variable, with ice developing by midday and temperatures often bitterly cold. Pricing for accommodation, food, and lift tickets is widely criticised as expensive, though many users still return regularly and consider it the best option in eastern Canada.

I recently visited Mont-Tremblant, and it completely lived up to the hype! Whether youre into skiing, hiking, or just relaxing in a charming village, this place has something for everyone.Winter Experience: I went during ski season, and the slopes were fantasticwell-maintained with a good mix of beginner, intermediate, and expert runs. The gondola rides up the mountain offered incredible views, and even though it was a bit crowded on weekends, the wait times werent too bad. Après-ski was a highlight, with cozy bars and restaurants serving up delicious food (try the poutine and fondue!).The Village: The pedestrian village is like something out of a postcardcolorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and a lively atmosphere. Plenty of great restaurants and shops, though prices are definitely on the higher side.Summer & Fall: Ive also been here in the fall, and the hiking trails with the autumn foliage are breathtaking. In the summer, theres kayaking, paddleboarding, and some great

Edge chair (experts only) is the slowest lift, but also quieter part of the hill with great glades. Found powder all day in this section. Don't venture too far off piste when riding near Emotion run!On hill cafeteria meals are pretty awful except for Le Refuge du Trappeur. (Only accessible by black diamond run tigadou or with some minimal traversing via blue run toboggan) great cozy cabin hidden away on the hill on the soleil side. For apres, Diable microbrasserie is great for brews and bites.Ptit caribou is the top spot for apres.Get to the hill early and park in P2 for free. Arrive before 9 weekdays, even earlier on weekends to ensure there are spots. If you have your lift pass already you can grab the porter du soleil chair and start riding right away.

Ski in and ski out from Fairmont Hotel was amazing! You can put your ski boots on in your hotel room, go down the elevator to the bottom floor, grab your skis from their secured ski valet and walkout the doors to ski. The hot tub there as well was beautiful but the drinks were very expensive (around $40 for 2 mixed drinks)! The mountain had beautiful views, and there was a lot of snow when we went in mid January.

I have been skiing at tremblant for around 4 years. Tremblant can get very very busy during holidays and even on weekends. So if you can I would recommend going during the week when there isnt a holiday. Tremblant can get very icy and they dont groom their runs very well considering the price of skiing there. Additionally, during busy times it is usually filled with people who dont know how to ski well enough to be on the runs that they go on. Tremblant does have a lot of different runs so there is a lot of variety. The lifts are pretty quick and the apres ski is pretty good for Ontario.

Tremblant is such a vibe! Love the gladed areas at Soleil and was pleasantly surprised with the variety of terrain (coming from skiing only the rockies before). The hill is busy and if you go to the main gondola expect to wait in line but the apres ski and village are so much fun so its hard not to once in a while.

Tremblant is a fan favourite for many in the Ontario-Quebec region. Village is always a highlight, but unpredictable conditions all season. Even after a massive snowfall, many runs were closed and sheets of ice on every run (at every level) which is unfortunate when December-January the prices are roughly $60 more than average for a single ski pass. However, everything at tremblant runs quickly and smoothly, with great customer service when needed.

Arriving from the US, the quality of the off piste skiing really impressed me. Admittedly we hit it after a good storm, but the tree skiing was excellent. Much of it was relatively open with various levels of difficulty. The back side (north? Non village side) was especially fun. Beautiful views from the top!The village at Tremblant is vibrant and active into the night with many dining options. It is a beautiful setting leading directly to the slopes.

Tremblant is a great east coast mountain. Though it is not the same quality as the west coast it will definitely make most if not all skiers happy. I definitely prefer the versant nord due to the fact that it is quieter. Overall this is a good mountain .

I love Mont Tremblant, the atmosphere and the hills have options for everyone. Its important to note that it operates like a resort, so prices are inflated and the crowds are present all year round. Definitely a hill that must be experienced but do not expect it to be quiet! The conditions of the hill itself are usually pretty great! The runs are all well taken care of and pretty long, making your lift pass go far (although the lifts are very long and sometimes so are the lines to get on them).

Many unique trails and plenty of room to get away from the crowds near the Village. You can park on the other side of the mountain for less stress if you drive in. The bars and restaurants are plentiful, also small markets and shopping are within walking distance from most of the hotels if you stay at the village.

Great ski resort that offers a good variety of runs. Gets busy on the weekends, but if you can make it out on a week day, it's always worth it!
Love everything that the village has to offer at the base of the slopes, and great snowshoe and x-country ski trails in the area as well.
