Overall camp fortune is a fairly well rounded ski resort that has mostly everything you need. The food prices are a bit expensive as well as the lift and rental tickets compared to other resorts in the area but overall not a bad experience.

Great for kids lessons. Visited prior to full opening so lifts and runs that were open were busy.
Decent beginner hill. Better when all sections are open.

Good resort, very small and beginner friendly. Not many runs and not the best if you’re an advanced skier

Went to Camp Fortune last night for night skiing and it was honestly one of those “why don’t I do this more often” kind of nights.

All the lifts were running, the lines were small (like… actually small), and the snow conditions were way better than I expected for an evening session. Everything felt smooth and fast without being sketchy, and it was just an easy, fun vibe the whole time.

Also shoutout to the lodge food… I crushed a taco salad after and it absolutely hit the spot. Perfect way to end the night.

If you’re thinking about going for night skiing, this was a fun session for a smaller peak. I’ll be back for sure.

Camp Fortune is a great place for beginners as there are plenty of gentle hills, but also many intermediate and a few advanced runs. I’m especially glad that the Meech hill has been lit up for night skiing, as it offers fun intermediate runs with lots of features on the sides. Would highly recommend Camp Fortune to skiers and snowboarders of all levels!

I always go on weekdays because weekends are very busy. The hills are always nicely groomed and taken care of. The instructors and coaches are always friendly. Food and drink selection is great and it’s delicious! The hill always puts in lots of effort to get the season started early on which is great.

So close to Ottawa nestled in the Gatineau park, this ski hill is great for any tourists looking to experience a day on the slopes. It can be super busy on weekends because of close to the hills and amazing programming.

THe lifts are all fixed grip and slow. THe parking lot gets full and it is a long way to walk. THe lodge gets full. But the hills are groomed well and it is real skiing in close proximity to the urban centre of Ottawa-Gatineau. If Skyline side parking lot has parking spaces consider starting on this side of the mountain.

Great small ski hill 20 minutes outside of Ottawa. Huck yourself off the edge of a groomer and find some sweet glades off Meech and Haggveit. The local vibe is awesome. Employees and riders are folks who have a love for the sport.

Close to downtown Ottawa, reasonably priced lift tickets. Newly expanded lodge which is nice. Began in 1920 so a lot of history there.

Super great spot if you are learning or teaching a friend. Very beginner territory for the most part. Good price for what you get. Night skiing also makes it quite accessible.
